  1. Thanks Michael. I haven't ever been to Point Magu but I have drunk a lot of "San Magoo" in the P.I. Does that count?
  2. Used to be pretty standard paint for training and utility aircraft. Don't know if it still is.
  3. Thanks Buck. Looks like we're starting out with a clean slate.
  4. Some shots of a Navy EC-121 assigned to the Pacific Missile Range at Point Magu, California landing at NOLF San Nicolas Island off the coast. The airplane is on a logistics flight carrying technicians out to the island to man the tracking stations for an upcoming test shot.
  5. A great story line and spectacular shots Buck. This really showcases the capability of FS2020 to "Go anywhere in the world" with outstanding RW fidelity. 5 Stars !!!
  6. Checking out the new screenshot forum
  7. A Lockheed USAF EC-121 "Warning Star" AEW aircraft leaves contrails climbing out of Keflavik AB in Iceland.
  8. Looks like a max performance takeoff! Those will definitely increase the heart rate. Awesome pics Darren.:pilot:
  9. Thanks, Rick & Larry. Here's a more accurate shot of the WV-2 AEW and the WC-121 weather recon version with the correct wingtip tanks.
  10. For all you "Fly Navy" fans out there here are some quick shots of a Navy WC-121N "Huricane Hunter" repaint of the Redwings L1049G Super Constellation for MSFS. Been waiting for this one for a long time. The WC-121 was a later version designation of the original WV-2 ("Willie Victor") AEW model which flew radar patrols off both coasts of the U.S. during the late 1950s and into the late 1960s phases of the Cold War. I have a personal connection to these airplanes as my dad was the CO of the largest squadron of them in the Navy - 30 airplanes at the time. In these shots, the airplane is taking off from Midway Island in the mid-Pacific Ocean which was - along with Barbers Point Naval Air Station in Hawaii - their home base in the Pacific. Argentia Naval Air Station in Newfoundland was the Atlantic base. The paint is an awesome and very welcome addition to MSFS but not 100% accurate. Neither the WV-2 AEW nor the WC-121 Hurricane Hunters had windows down the fuselage and both models had wingtip tanks. Not bitching - just sayin' :pilot:
  11. After our trips out west to Aspen and Vegas we're back on the east coast at our estate in ritzy Westchester, NY. While we wait for our own personal Vision Jet to get a new paint job and makeover at Cirrus we use our VeriJet membership for a quick on demand jaunt out to Martha's Vineyard. VeriJet will do the flying while we watch Netflix in the cabin's Executive seating arrangement. Come along for the ride. Our "chariot awaits without" on the Million Air FBO ramp at KHPN. The gloomy overcast is today's RW weather. With power on the aircraft we pull down the cabin display and look thru the online offerings. Up front the crew goes through the Before Start checklist. Taxiing to and holding short of Runway 34 Climbing out on the Westchester departure After a short enroute segment we're on the ILS24 approach at the Vineyard. The green blotches on the MFD are NEXRAD rainshowers over the airport and nearby Nantucket. Looks like no golf today. :( Taxi off the active and offloading on the ramp. Welcome to the Vineyard! Do you think Barack and Michelle will be home today? Should we stop by and say Hi?:D
  12. Awesome shots and beautiful composition! What desert scenery is this? The Sahara?
  13. The sun lights up a persistent contrail from passing traffic above our Vision Jet on an early morning climb out. The first shot shows the traffic has made a turn over a Navaid before heading straight on course.
  14. It certainly creates a blind spot. Compare it to the Vision Jet.
  15. A great collection. Especially like the Reeve YS-11. Is the C-117 landing in water by any chance??:D:D
  16. Thanks, Jan - Happy New Year!
  17. It's payware and as far as I know, it's only available on the MS2020 Market Place. See this link for more info: https://fselite.net/content/marwan-gharib-flightfx-hjet-ha420-released-for-msfs/
  18. Thanks, Larry. Just giving the Cirrus a break - it's still my favorite but the Honda is pretty nice too. The G3000 touchscreens in both are winners! :D:pilot:
  19. No - but I wish she was!! :D:D
  20. It climbs the hills like a champ 'Cause my Honda's built really light When I go into the turns Lean with me and hang on tight I better turn on the lights So we can ride my Honda tonight Song lyrics from "Little Honda" by the Beach Boys Here are some shots of a Honda Jet landing at Ingalls Field (KHSP) in Hot Springs, Virginia. Located on a ridge top in the Blue Ridge Mountains at 3792 feet field elevation, KHSP is the highest public use airport east of the Mississippi. The weather is today's rainy RW weather in Virginia. The MFD shows the airplane is on the ILS Runway 25 approach.
