  1. After what Microsoft pulled with the upgrade to Windows 10, I'm more inclined to trust Mitja or even his brother Dimetry from the Ukraine ;)
  2. That's a installation issue. Are you registered at QualityWings forum? https://qwsim.flight1.net/forums/forums.html Cory, Lars and any of the other crew can best advise you on what you need to do.
  3. Looks like this link still works for original Saitek drivers ftp://ftp.saitek.com/pub/software/full/ The... Saitek_Pro_Flight_Panels_00000003_Software_pfw.exe ...works for all three panels. Not sure if they work in Windows 10 or not. Just be sure to do a virus check on whatever you download.
  4. Ever since Microsoft started their assault to upgrade W7 to W10 (WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION), I've been careful to read EACH and EVERY update offered. If it even hinted of Windows 10, I hid the update. I also downloaded all the W10 Free manual updates from the Microsoft Update Catalog so I would always be able to do a manual reinstall. Then they started the update "Roll Ups". Not knowing what was being pushed, I quit installing updates all together. Hopefully I avoided any hidden messages to update to W10. Of course, FS2020 will require W10, so I went to the expense of a 2nd NVMe PCIe slot adapter and drives just for that UGLY, intrusive Windows 10 that will ONLY be used for FS2020

    Airbus Call Outs

Airbus callouts are politically incorrect. "Retard...Retard...Retard" You should put Boeing callouts in the Airbus
  6. Since you have the Steam version, have you tried Verify files? Verify Integrity of Game Files 1. Restart your computer and launch Steam. 2. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu. 3. Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game files... button. 4. Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes. I don't have Steam FSX myself, but this has fixed a few that I do have. Just be aware if you have add-ons, this can wipe them out and you may have to re-install them!
  7. What parameter do you tweak to adjust trim?
  8. Good point. I don't know how much of a hit ATC will make because it's not graphics, but AI aircraft will sure make a hit depending of course on how many are in the frame.
  9. One of the first things I noticed about FSX is, you naturally have interior sound for both. FSX has exterior engine sounds that change on the intake and exhaust side. Panning around is realistic. FS2004 just has a exterior engine sound that does not change when panning.
  10. That's great if you want EVERY aircraft to be self trimming. If you just have a few that are real kamikaze nose divers, there is... FSX Automatic Elevator Trim Gauge by Chuck Dome in the library that you add to the individual panel.cfg
  11. Thanks Loki, Correction to first post is... Adaptive Streaming Fully Offline Mode Pre-Cache Mode Looks like there may be a place still for ORBX and the other developers.
  12. From what I've been able to decipher, there is a On-line streaming mode to get the very best experience, a Semi Off-line mode where scenery can be downloaded to a cache, and a Full Off-line mode. Or last two one and the same? Can anybody shed more information on this? We've all seen how awesome On-Line mode is. Would be very interested to see how Off-Line mode would compare to current FSX.
  13. Thank for link Vic Makes me wonder if a 1TB drive would be enough to cache a trip from McCarran to LAX
  14. I don't use the POSKY for FSX so can't answer that. If you and mrzippy don't get the POSKY sorted out, there is in fact a TDS 737-600 Malev in the library (I also happen to have it installed myself) Search for : tds_boeing_737-600_malev.zip You will find TDS don't have a Virtual Cockpit and some of the lights don't work. However getting updated model files from TDS Facebook will solve this issue.
  15. I use POSKY for FS2004 (Several models) and TDS for FSX which I never experienced any dipping like your having. Have you considered the TDS model? Actually TDS is some of the former POSKY members. Just speculating, but that looks like some kind of suspension setting controlled in the panel.cfg that might do that. Or maybe the center of gravity is too far forward forcing the nose down under hard braking.
  16. I'm using FSX Gold with Steve's DX10 Fixer - DX10 Mode No issue with the windshield even in rain, however other issues... Tundra model OK... Stock looks like missing skis and wheels are CHROME... Amphibian and Float BOTH have invisible struts... All need the blue flame effect repositioned
  17. Look in the EULA (End User License Agreement) I you break it, Microsoft will send the software cops after you.
  18. I could not part with all the POSKY aircraft I installed and the "Century of Flight" aircraft. ORBX scenery and advanced modeled aircraft is not available for FS9. You don't have to choose one or the other...for Pete's sake's keep them BOTH! Hell, I also have FS2000 Professional Edition installed.
  19. I would delete all your saved flight plans to the Recycle Bin. Then try to make a new one to KLAX and see if it crashes your FSX anymore. If it didn't fix the fatal crash, you can put them back and try something else.
  20. Be careful with larger USB hubs such as 7 or 10 port as they don't have sufficient power for each Saitek device. I use a array of x8, Orico 4 port powered hubs for all my Saitek Instrument Panels/Panels and CH Products controllers and never have any issues with them. You can check by adding up the amp draw for each device and see if it exceeds the hub power supply.
  21. You might try FSX Automatic Elevator Trim Gauge by Chuck Dome in the library. I used this on all my TDS 737's because I got tired of having to manually trim them out. Sort of like a MCAS :)
  22. Yes I used the APPs/SIV (System Information Viewer) on my Gigabyte X99 Gaming G1 and it works good. Heard using Windows based BIOS flashing software is risky though so I won't use the @BIOS and flash directly through the BIOS. I also have some fans with analog RPM controllers and made some custom fan splitters to feed the fan RPM's to the motherboard sensors hence why I'm trying to find monitoring software
  23. I like CC Cleaner & Defraggler so I just tried Speccy freeware, but it only shows just the CPU fan. Does the payware version show the remaining fans?
