For those of you that want P to pause MSFS, it takes about 15 seconds to set it up. But keep in mind that you'll need a second key to un-pause your sim.

A hard pause is possible, it's just called something different on the key command list. Anything we can do in FSX can be done in MSFS, it just takes a bit of time to find it.

The weather is not working. Anything below 5 mph is considered Calm in FS9 so 0,1,2,3,4, and 5 are all the same weather. Go somewhere where there are thunderstorms in the RW and see what FS gives you.

The option is there: it's called Load.

FSX is not giving you a hard time. It's acting just as it should. I just think you need to spend more time learning where everything is and how it works.

Your saved flight is there. I see it. Also note that loading a saved flight plan is not the same as loading a saved flight.

1. This is not Avsim.

2. Is there any question here? Are you asking about FSX? Then no cracks are needed because FSX does not require a CD in a drive. Patches? So either you install SP2 for FSX or you install FSX Acceleration. You do not do both.

Open your computer case up and clean all fans, filters, screens, and heatsinks. Then run FSX.

If it still freezes take the computer cover off and run FSX.

Shutting down processes isn't going to cool off your computer.

Default mesh or add on mesh?

It does work if you know what you are doing.

Live traffic should be turned off. That is why you are getting the blank liveries.

If you know what to do, FS 2004 runs just fine under Windows 10.

My crew and passengers don't have feelings so I fly however I want, sometimes upside down.

Is MSFS live traffic turned off? I use FSLTL also and do not get white planes. You have one or more setting not quite right.

All because I showed that default MSFS has 108 or more hand crafted airports and FS04 has some. I want to compare default to default, but nobody else wants to.

Because Roger thinks that default FS9 has more airports and airfields with buildings that are realistic replicas of real life than in any other flight sim. I would say he is mis-informed. 

It's called the digital age for a reason.

Try to find a new music release on a CD.

Try and buy a main stream computer with a cd/dvd player installed as a default item.

Your wants are long gone and a minority. People today want streaming and downloads and that's what manufacturers are doing. I sure as heck don't want to drive to my local Best Buy, purchase a 10 dvd boxed program, drive home, start loading dvds, hope none of them are damaged, hope files are not corrupt, and hope that FS starts. And reinstalls? Forget that. One click of a button, walk away and come back in 30 minutes, a brand new FS, patched to the latest version, all set to use.
