How do you get there if your MSFS refuses to boot up completely?

And your motherboard graphics chip is disabled, correct?

I would go to Device Manager in Windows and under Display adapters, see what is active. The latest update did not change the hardware requirements for MSFS.

Does your motherboard have an integrated video card and is that the active card right now?

PMDG locks their aircraft down pretty tight, so not going to happen.

Check all your settings because I gained FPS with all my settings staying the same.

So are you asking about backup software or software to move folders and files? Two different things.

1. FSX runs just fine on Windows 11.

2. You can call the automated activation number and it will ask you to enter a new license code into your FSX.

Duck, perhaps you'd like to edit the forthright but incorrect  assertion in your first post?

I'm sure you can, but there are only 3 official retailers of MSFS: the MS Store, Steam and Aerosoft. Purchase anywhere else and you are at risk for things like a one time use license.

Ok, there is only one place that sells the legitimate disk version and it's not eBay. Hope the second time you purchased from MS, Steam, or Aerosoft. Then you will never have to purchase again, even for multiple computers.

Because some things are not updated with just the program update. Wait until you need to check the Marketplace as well for updates.

When you don't purchase through an official retailer, this is what happens.

1. Saving a flight does not save every single detail of the flight. It's always been this way and has nothing to do with your OS.

2. Anything you don't want or need in MSFS can be removed. Therefore it's no more "bloatware" then your FSX install was.

1. Use Alt + Tab to switch between programs. Yes, FS will remain in Full Screen Mode.

2. Use a second monitor.

3. Look it up on your phone.

Of course, Alt + Enter, just like flightsims for years.

Does everything look normal on the calibration screen?

Try this: disconnect your joystick, start XP12, and use the keyboard to take off. What happens then?
