  1. I fully agree. A filename which I know to exist is found in comments and articles a.s.o - but the actual file is not found.
  2. When I read the link in your screenshot, I see something like https://files.flightsim.com/files/121/pevensey-castle_V1_0_0.zip When I navigate to the scenery in my browser, the links begin with "https://forums.flightsim.com/files/file/206257-msfs-2020-scenery-pevensey-castle-east-sussex-uk-v100. Using your link I get the same error. Could it be that you try to approach the old flightsim.com file structure? make sure, you enter the download area from forums.flightsim.com.
  3. I have no problems to download it. Is it the only file you cannot download or can't you download content at all?
  4. Tested the search function of the new software Searched "Titch" - found nothing. Searched "Titchfield" - found Titchfield Abbey scenery Searched "Titch*" - found Titchfield Abbey again. (string always without the "") So search seems to be a "full word" search, but placeholders work. Maybe others knew already - but for me it was an unknown feature.

Founded in 1132 by 12 Cistercian monks, the monastery grew rapidly. Around 1300 the monastery reached its peak size with 140 monks and maybe 500 lay brothers. But at the same time, the abbey had incurred debts - just like modern start-ups growing too fast. There were problems like an epidemic of sheep scab and attacks by the Scots. The monks were in severe financial problems. In the mid 14th century, the black death caused a great reduction in population and made it difficult to recruit new lay brothers for manual labour. At the end, the abbey had shrunk almost to the size it had, when it started - 14 monks, three lay brothers and the abbot. This scenery replaces the house occupying the site of the abbey church in the default scenery with a more realistic church model. The two tall buildings of the Kassel incineration plant are a well visible land mark in Kassel's East. They may not be 100% accurate, but show what is visible from the outside of the plant. The new version adds some smaller buildings and chimneys visible when approaching the plant from the south. For more information please read the README.TXT file contained in the ZIP-archive. The previous upload had an incomplete zip-archive. The readme.txt file was missing.
  7. But you are right, the number of files is somehow limited - I did not recognize in the first post.
  8. Have you tried the "Landing Pages" - and then in the sub-menu the simulator, you use? On the page which follows, the latest files are on the right hand side.
  9. Have you verified, that Online Functionality is ON in your General Options / Data?
  10. I think, it is available. It seems that owners need to upload a square picture of sufficient resolution (or another format, where the important details fit into a centred square) and define it as primary screenshot. Then it is as nice as it used to be.
  11. not that I could understand, why -- but if it works: happy downloading!
  12. I enter the site with the same bookmark I used the past ten years: https://www.flightsim.com (except for the "s" in https).
  13. Strange! This is the link that I see: https://forums.flightsim.com/files/file/184376-fs2004-taylorcraft-auster-model-plus-c/?do=download&csrfKey=a290a1b31c83bb42ae8243b5d35dcd10
  14. Hi Garciamk3G, I will contact Roger using the email-address I used last year. I will ask him, whether it is ok to forward his address to you. And - yes, I had his approval to upload, I failed because of lack of airport creation capabilities and lack of time.
  15. Click on the package's name (FS2004 Taylorcraft Auster Model Plus C), not on the black button, and on the next screen click on "Download this file". That should work.
  16. Sometimes, when there have been issues with the internet, MSFS switches to offline mode. Please check whether you're online in Options - General Options - Data
  17. I was in contact with Roger September/October last year for exactly the same reason. But while it was ok to convert a single building to MSFS, I had to give up when it came to converting or building full airports. That was beyond what I could do. Hope, you will be more successful!
  18. I just visited AVSim and I haven't found anything better or clearer. And what I certainly dislike, is a site that runs scripts from near to 40 other companies to evaluate your clicks. Here a selection - they didn't fit into the window. But everybody as he or she likes.

MSFS Scenery--Helmsley Castle (North Yorkshire, UK); Helmsley is a small market town situated at the southern edge of the North York Moors. The castle, on the west side of the town, was initially constructed in wood around 1120, was converted into a stone castle with works beginning only about 65 years later. In subsequent decades the castle was further extended, fortified and made more comfortable to live in. But is was until the times of the Civil war that it was besieged, taken and destroyed. Only the Mansion was spared. In the following centuries the castle was owned by various people and left to decay. In the 18th century it became a pictoresque decoration of the Duncombe Park estate with its country house built nearby. For more information please read the readme.txt file contained in the archive.
  20. I am not sure, I never used them, but would the following be near to what you are looking for: click "Browse" - "Downloads" - select the category you are interested in, then "Sort by" and "most downloaded". Sounds to me like "hot". But maybe I am totally wrong.
  21. @leuen - you are right, via the Browse button you need to check all sub-categories one by one. So this would be an item for the wish list - for example: by clicking the main category (for you that would be "F2004 (ACOF)") get all entries of all sub-categories uploaded during the past 30 days (currently, clicking there gives you the message, that the category is empty).
  22. How about: "Browse" - "Downloads" - and then: from the categories on the right hand side, select the 2004 category, you're interested in. Isn't that, what you are looking for?
