FS2004/FSX Savoia Marchetti S 55 X
FS2004/FSX Savoia Marchetti S 55 X. This is the 4th version of this model, which has been revised in order to be used with FS2004 and also with FSX. The model was made with Abacus FSDS v3.51. It has many moving parts and a detailed enough 3D virtual cockpit. This new version has been prepared to mark the 80th anniversary of flight across the Atlantic, following a request of the PVI, Italian Virtual Pilot, which also provided for the configuration of the new virtual cockpit with new gauges. Model, panel and textures of I-NANN code sample are made by Massimo Taccoli. Repaint by Luigi Speroni specimen with I-BALB code. Repaint for sample coded I-GIORDANO and I-BIANI are from Fabio Dominici (PVI). Revision of flight dynamics by Carlo Alberto de Ruvo (PVI). Basic gauges comes from FS2004 DC3 model. FS2004 Kenmore Air DHC-2 Beaver "Rockys Flying Beaver". Kenmore Air Harbor, "Rockys Flying Beaver" for the payware Aerosoft DeHavilland DHC2 Beaver package. Kenmore Air's N57576 Beaver was repainted in 2010 in this Rocky and Bullwinkle paint scheme. Although the real aircraft depicts the DHC-2 Beaver Mk1 8 seat model with the bubble side windows. FS2004 Martin Mars Water Bomber. On 23 August 1938 the US Navy ordered from Martin a single prototype of the Martin 170 design for a patrol bomber of flying-boat configuration. Designated XPB2M-1, it was the world's largest flying-boat when flown for the first time on 3 July 1942. Only six more of the type were ordered at the end of WWII. These served as transports until 1956, when they were retired. In 1959, the remaining four were purchased for conversion to firebombers. Two remain flying to this day, the Philippine Mars and the second Hawaii Mars. Alphasim freeware AI model made flyable in FS2004. Complete 2D panel and outward look but no VC. FS2004 Jimmy Buffet's Albatross. This is a repaint of Jimmy Buffet's Hemisphere Dancer, which he flew around the Caribbean in the mid-90's.
