FS2004/FSX Aztec Airways Beech 18
FS2004/FSX Aztec Airways Beech 18. This is a new, previously unreleased AI Beech 18 / C-45 model for FS2004. This is 2007 project that was shelved by Jake Burrus and is mostly all complete. There are a couple minor modeling issues that were never finished but comes with eight LOD's and some basic C45 paints and PSD's that are included thanks to Ray Parker! Ray has kindly allowed me to release this model. There is a converted model available as well (see Readme). This is the base model and I have done the two other repaints included. FS2004 Latecoere 300
FS2004 Latecoere 300. The Late 300 series of seaplanes is not as well known to aviation enthusiasts as their 290-298 series counterparts. And that's not surprising. The 300 series was hardly ever produced individually, nor was it used as extensively. Nevertheless, the Late 300 was well worth a look. In the late 1920s, France experienced an unprecedented surge of interest in ocean-going aircraft capable of flying long distances without refueling. With World War II not in the plans of the Ministry of Aviation, the specifications for a new machine were chosen for a long-range mail plane to operate on the transoceanic line between North Africa and Brazil. In 1928, Latecoere tested its prototype Late 300 seaplane, which soon received the registration code G-AKCU. By Denis Fouchard.173 downloads

FS2004 Wibault 283T
FS2004 Wibault 283T. The Penhoët Wibault 280-T prototype flew for the first time at Villacoublay in November 1930. Its development was financed by the Penhoët shipyards of St Nazaire. It was an all-metal low-wing cantilever monoplane powered by three 300 hp (224 kW) Hispano-Wright 9Qa radial engines, but these were soon replaced by three Gnome-Rhône 7Kb and the aircraft was renamed Wibault 281-T. A second aircraft was built to the 281 standard, but it was later converted to the Wibault 282-T with three 350 hp (261 kW) Gnome-Rhône 7Kd engines and room for 12 passengers, seven more aircraft were built as 282s. Some of these 282s were operated by Air Union on the Paris-London Voile d'Or service in 1933. In 1934, Air France took delivery of the first of ten Wibault 283-Ts, which had an increased fuel capacity and modified tail. Some of the 282s were converted to the 283 standard. Some of the commercial aircraft were later taken over as military transports. By Denis Fouchard.154 downloads

FS2004 Potez 62
FS2004 Potez 62. The Potez 62 civilian airliner prototype, based on the Potez 54 military aircraft, made its first flight on January 28, 1935. It retained the shrouded wing of the Potez 54 model, which was attached to the fuselage of a redesigned and superbly aerodynamic fuselage. The captain and co-pilot were seated side by side, and behind them were two cabins that could accommodate up to 16 passengers. The production aircraft, powered by an 820 hp Gnome-Rhône 14Kirs engine, was named Potez 620. The skin was composite with a wing covered with canvas and metal leading edge, the structure of the fuselage being in wood. There was a military version, the Potez 65, which differed only slightly from the civilian model. Motorization Two 14-cylinder Gnome and Rhône star engines of 870 hp were housed in two lateral cradles, fixed to the fuselage and the wings. Their fairing also made it possible to accommodate the wheels of the raisable main gear. By Denis Fouchard.146 downloads
