The D6SKYBUS.ZIP file must be installed before using this aircraft. FSUIPC3.X required for the TCAS to operate. Exit door open/close sounds added. FS2004 Canadian SAR Twin Otter

FS2004 Canadian SAR Twin Otter (textures only). Tail number 13801, Canadian SAR search and rescue aircraft. The main body of 13801 is similar to 13805 in yellow and red but has the additional markings and subtle changes to the textures. In general the markings are now more accurate and detailed in this version. The most obvious change is the wording of "RESCUE SAUVETAGE" on the side. A more subtle change is the addition of a narrow black line arround the main stripe and the rear red tail band. Also new are the props which are red and white tipped. There is also a small change to the lower narrow red stripe which now has a white center section and goes arround the lower belly of the aircraft. The aircraft is now more faithful to real aircraft. The repainted aircraft is very dirty and full of scratches and marks and has a well used feel. The zipped texture files are quite large because of the attention to detail. The aircraft is almost photorealistic as a result. A photo of the real 13801 Canadian SAR aircraft is provided so it can be seen how close this repaint is to the real thing. By Peter Wilding.

FS2004 SAR Twin Otter

FS2004 SAR Twin Otter; textures only. Tail number 13805 Canadian (SAR) search and rescue aircraft. 13805 was given a make over some time ago and now has new colors. The main body is a pale grey/white with "RESCUE" in bright orange on the side. Also new is the tail end which has new markings and a new bright orange and blue band. The repainted aircraft is very dirty and full of scratches and marks and has a well used feel. The texture files are quite large because of the attention to detail. The aircraft is almost photorealistic as a result. A photo of the real "NEW" Canadian SAR aircraft is provided so it can be seen how close this repaint is to the real thing. By Peter Wilding.

The idea is to give the user a SAR (search and rescue) type aircraft suitable for use anywhere in the world without seeming "out of place" for any given region. This version has improved textures with more weathering and improved realism in the way the "smoke" leaves deposits on the engine cladding and tail-wings. In general the aircraft is very dirty and full of scratches and marks and has a well used feel. The texture files are quite large because of the attention to detail.
