FS2004 Zlin Z-43

FS2004 Zlin Z-43, another member of Z-40 family produced by Moravan Otrokovice. It was designed as a modern substitute for L-40 Metasokol in the second half of the 1960s. Its construction is based on its predecessor, the Z-42. But you can notice differences at the first sight - four seat cockpit, more robust fuselage and changed wing shape. The "Four-three", as it is dubbed in many Czech aeroclubs, is used for basic training including radionavigation, sightseeing flights and sport flying. Z-43s are also used for precision flying and flying rally. Although sometimes criticized, especially in terms of operation economy, its the most widespread aircraft of this category in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and its used by both aeroclubs and private owners. FS2004 Aeroprakt A-22 Foxbat. This is Rick Piper's original A22 Foxbat for FS2004. The files were originally hosted on the now discontinued Horizon Simulations Forum. Included are four textures. The A22 'Foxbat' is available as a ready-to-fly factory built aircraft or as an advanced kit. Designed by former Antonov design engineer Yuri Yakovlev , the A-22 is one of a line of many aircraft produced by Aeroprakt. Construction is aluminium with some parts of the wing and control surfaces covered with Ceconite. The A-22 is powered by the reliable Rotax 912 or 912S engine, and the 3-blade composite ground adjustable propellor from KievProp is very quiet. By Rick Piper.

FS2004 Commercial Air Services Cessna 195 (Comair South Africa). c/n 1947/7049. Bought new and registered ZS-BFW on 16 February 1948. Used to inaugurate Comair's scheduled services on 1 July 1948. Used in both scheduled and non-scheduled services until September 1950. Sold to Commercial Air Services (Rhodesia) and registered as VP-YIP in January 1951. Suffered an accident on 8 November 1955 following a ground-loop caused by a tyre burst while landing at Maun, Bechuanaland (Botswana). Fuselage, starboard wing and tailplane damaged beyond economic repair. c/n 1948/7114. Bought new and registered ZS-BGA on 16 June 1948. Used in both scheduled and non-scheduled services until December 1954. Sold to Aero Club of Madagascar and registered as F-OARZ. These are texture files only for the Cessna 195 (Shakey-Jake) by Joe Binka. Repaint by Andre Reimers.
