    CFS Scenery--Ailinglaplap-Atoll, under Japanese occupation. This scenery shows the Ailinglaplap island's chain, Namu island's chain and an emergency airstrip located at Jabat-island, Marshall islands. Ailinglaplap Atoll was claimed by the Empire of Germany along with the rest of the Marshall Islands in 1884. A number of European trading stations were established on the islands to Ailingkaplap as part of the copra trade. After World War I, the island came under the South Pacific Mandate of the Empire of Japan. Following the end of World War II, it came under the control of the United States as part of the Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands until the independence of the Marshall Islands in 1986.     CFS Scenery--Kwajalein. New version of old scenery uploaded on 2003. Now with new realistic airfields layout, new textures, surroundings islands (Lae atoll, Ujae atoll and Lib island), and Japanese ground vehicles. The "Kwajalein" scenerie is a fictional release of Kwajalein Atoll for CFS1, during WWII. Includes static Mitsubishi A6m5c Zero, Mitsubishi Ki46-II Dinah, Mitsubishi G4M Betty, Nakajima Ki-43 Hayabusa and Aichi D3A1 "Val", hangars, NDB Beacon, AA guns, refuel area, searchlights, ships and ground vehicles. The ground vehicles have new modified API macros of Japanese trucks and armored vehicles.     CFS Scenery--Marianas Full. The "Marianas Full" scenery in an update of the old Marianas 1 and Marianas 2 sceneries, created on 2003. This new version include all island of the Marianas chain, with new realistic hills and mountains, and Japanese ground vehicles. Islands: Farallon de Pajaros, Maug, Asuncion, Agrihan, Pagan, Alamagan, Guguan, Sarigan, Anatahan, Farallon de Medinilla, Saipan, Tinian, Aguijan, Rota, and Guam. Including elevated mesh terrain and total nine airports used by Japanese Army and Navy, located at Pagan, Saipan, Tinian, Rota and Guam islands. This island chain, in the northwest Pacific area, was site of fierce battles during the Second World War. The airfields scenery is totally fictional. Shows the current airfields layer took from the real maps and a supposed buildings distribution just as a Japanese Navy and Army Airfield during WWII, using wartime photos and maps as source.     CFS Scenery--Enewetak during WWII. Enewetak Atoll is a large coral atoll of 40 islands in the Pacific Ocean, and with its 850 people forms a legislative district of the Ralik Chain of the Marshall Islands. Its land area totals less than 5.85 square kilometres (2.26 sq mi), not higher than 5 m and surrounding a deep central lagoon, 80 kilometres (50 mi) in circumference. It is the second westernmost atoll of the Ralik Chain, and is located 305 kilometres (190 mi) west from Bikini Atoll. By Edmundo Abad.

    CFS Scenery--West Malling. This scenery places the additional runway 07, buildings, fields, trees, ground vehicles and more to the default CFS scenery of West Malling. Although still under construction during the Battle of Britain, West Malling was host to 141 squadron and their Defiants who were famously shot down en masse on the 19th July an episode known as the "Slaughter of the Innocents." West Malling was extensively bombed by the Luftwaffe even though it wasn't finished so consequently was only used by Lysanders flying reconnaissance missions for the later part of 1940.     CFS Scenery--Northolt. This scenery places the additional runway 07, buildings, fields, trees, ground vehicles, static planes, searchlights and more to the default CFS scenery of Northolt. The airfield at RAF Northolt is located in the London Borough of Hillingdon. During the Battle of Britain, northolt was 'home' to a series of allied and British Hurricane and Spitfire Squadrons, including a complete Polish Wing.     CFS Scenery--Westhampnett. RAF Westhampnett was a Royal Air Force station, located in the village of Westhampnett near Chichester, in the English county of West Sussex. It was built as an emergency landing airfield for fighter aircraft, as a satellite station to RAF Tangmere.     CFS Scenery--Tangmere. The "Tangmere" scenery attempts to approximate the airport like it (may) have looked in WWII days, as RAF station in the 1940's, Battle of Britain period. Shows the wartime airfield layer took from the real maps and actual "air" photos from the WWII time period. This scenery places an additional concrete runway, not shown on the default CFS scenery, buildings, fields, trees, ground vehicles, static planes, searchlights and more to the default CFS scenery of Tangmere. On this scenery is shown some old static trucks, the Bedford OL (with and without tent) and the Austin K2 ambulance. The default CFS scenery supply the AFD menu entry, but you need have installed the CFSAIRP.ZIP of Pieter van Wyk, to capture the Tangmere's NDB frequency through the Bendix ADF. By Edmundo Abad.

  12. CFS Scenery--Bad Zwischenahn

    CFS Scenery--Bad Zwischenahn. Bad Zwischenahn was opened in 1937 as a civil airport (grass runway) and seaport (using the Bad Zwischenahner See). It was taken over by the Luftwaffe in 1939. Reconstruction and extension up to 1940. Three asphalt runways were constructed, and hangars erected. The Erprobungskommando 16 (EK16), the Me 163B "Komet" test unit, were stationed here from late summer 1943 to October 1944. And early 1945-April 1945 was Home of II./JG400, also equipped with "Komets". The design is based on the information of Arne Bartels on 'Chronik des Flugplatzes Zwischenahn' as the main source, and Bernhard Weiss with his Fliegerhorste site, and other page about Bad Zwischenahn of Manfred Tegge (Relikte in Niedersachsen und Bremen). Special thanks to Stephan Sholtz by the provided information for the development of this virtual CFS scenery. The "Bad Zwischenahn" scenery is fictional, but shows the airport like it (may) have looked like in WWII days. The bulding positions are taken from wartime aerial photos and other photos of current golf club located on the former airbase. The scenery is built in "Luftwaffe Style", in accordance with Combat Flight Simulator. The airbase Bad Zwischenahn was located in Lower Saxony, North of West Germany, near Oldemburg.     CFS Scenery--Italian Dodecaneso. This scenery shows the elevated mesh terrain of Italy Dodecaneso with the main islands with real and ficcional airfields. This scenery is a complement of Greece Scenery for CFS, created by the Mushy Peas Group on 2000. The three italian airfields of Rodi, (Maritsa, Gadurra and Cattavia), and Scarpanto airfield, are historically accurate, but the airfields of the rest of the islands are totally fictional.     CFS API Macro--RAF Austin K2 Ambulance, CFS version of a WWII ground vehicle. The Austin K2 was a military ambulance built by the British Austin Motor Company for the British Commonwealth forces, during World War II. The vehicle was designed by Mann Egerton and could transport ten persons sitting or four in stretchers. A veteran of the World War II declared that this ambulance was able to transport 27 injured in the campaign of the desert. About 13,000 units of this model were built, and currently more than 50 continue today in operation. The maximum speed was 80 Km/h. Macro created with Easy Object Designer (EOD).   18. CFS API Macro--Steyr Ambulance

    CFS API Macro--Steyr Ambulance, CFS version of a WWII ground vehicle. This is an example of an API macro created by Easy Object Designer (EOD), for CFS scenery designers that they work with Airport 2.0 or later. Austria's all wheel drive Steyr 1500A was one of the many personnel/transport vehicles which was designed to meet Whermacht requirement for standard army 1.5 ton truck. Presented in 1941, the Steyr was used as troop transport in all the war theaters. A total of more than 20,000 were built. The chassis of Steyr 1500A and its reinforced variant Steyr 2000A were also used for fire trucks, omnibus, universal "Funk-Koffer", and different types of cargo carriers with opened, metal or wooden cabins. API macro is of a static Steyr 1500A "Krankenwagen" (ambulance), used by German Luftwaffe on WWII. By Edmundo Abad.

This work is based on an original texture of Al Simms, extracted from his "FS2004/FS2002 API macro--low res 3/4 ton truck" API macros file. Known affectionately to American crews as the "Beep", the Dodge 3/4 ton truck was a widely-used supply vehicle of the USAAC on WWII.     CFS Scenery--Rheine-Hopsten. The "Rheine-Hopsten" scenery is a complement for the scenery "Fliegerhorst Hopsten" created by Wolfgang Grunewald, and shows the three concrete runways built an the end of WWII (1944) for ME-262 operations. This scenery adds concrete runways, not shown in the Wolfgang Grunewald scenery (1940), NDB beacon, buildings, ground vehicles, static jet planes and searchlights. If you don't have installed Wolfgang Grunewald's "Fliegerhorst Hopsten" scenery, no problem. Is not needed, but the scenery will be seen very poor.     CFS API Macro--VW Van. CFS version of a VW Van ground vehicle. This is an experiment oriented to CFS scenery designers that they work with Airport 2.0 or later. This is the same API macro VW Van "Follow Me" created by Christian Friedrich on 2001, for FS2000. Some changes have been made on the API file to convert the macro for CFS, avoiding visibility problems in CFS (due to original FS2000 format). This macro has two versions: A "Follow Me" airport ground vehicle, with the original Christian Friedrich's texture, and a Bundeswehr-Luftwaffe VW ambulance with a new texture based on the original.
