  7. FS98/CFS RAF Westland Whirlwind Mk.1

FS98/CFS RAF Westland Whirlwind Mk.1, 137 Sqn. The Whirlwind was an RAF twin-engined fighter/bomber. The first prototype flew in 1938. It had good handling and speed for the times, even as a twin. The four 20mm cannons also made it one of the RAF's heaviest armed fighters. However, its higher altitude performance was not on par with other fighters of the period. Its major flaw was the unreliable R/R Peregrine engines. CFS moving parts model, FD, and Textures by Tim Conrad. Includes updated edition of Chuck Dome's CFS P-38H panel (with additional gauges by Chuck Dome, Glenn Copeland, Brian Kostick, Jay Crawford, Paul Schwerdtfeger and John Hirsch). Sound by George Csillag and Dean Mountford. Flight music included. FS98 conversion, panel rebuild, and package assembly by Derek 'Deke' Wakefield of Indianola Flightcraft.

  8. FS98/CFS Fairey Firefly Mk.1

FS98/CFS Fairey Firefly Mk.1 FAA 1770 Sqn., HMS Indefatigable, Pacific theater, January 1945. Designed by Fairey to spec N.5/40, the Firefly was a big step up from the company's earlier Fulmar naval fighter in terms of firepower and speed. Firefly Mk-1's saw action in Europe (attacking the battleship Tripitz) and in the Pacific. The later Firefly Mk-5 saw much service in the Korean War. Original CFS moving parts model, textures, and DP/CDP by Tim Conrad. FS98 FD by Bob Tremblay. Includes updated edition of Chuck Dome's FS98 PANF4U Corsair panel (with additional gauges by Chuck Dome, Glenn Copeland, Brian Kostick, Jay Crawford, Paul Schwerdtfeger and John Hirsch). Sound by George Csillag and Dean Mountford. FS98 conversion, panel rebuild, and package collation by Derek 'Deke' Wakefield of Indianola Flightcraft.

  12. FS98 Bell P-39D Airacobra

FS98 Bell P-39D Airacobra, USAAC 31st Pursuit Group, Selfridge Field, February 1941 (full package). Originally designed as an interceptor, the US Army requested that Bell redesign the P-39 as ground attack fighter. It was one of only a handful of modern combat aircraft available to the USAAC at the time of Pearl Harbor. FS5 model/AFX by Eric C. Johnson. CFS moving parts model and original textures by Chuck Dome. Includes FS98 rebuild of Dan Griffin's CFS P-39 v2 panel (with gauges by Chuck Dome, Glenn Copeland, Brian Kostick, Jay Crawford, R.L. 19. FS98 Bell P-39C Airacobra

FS98 Bell P-39C Airacobra, bare metal, USAAC early 1941 (full package). Originally designed as an interceptor, the US Army requested that Bell redesign the P-39 as ground attack fighter. Johnson. Converted for FS98 with animated prop, flaps and landing gear. Includes FS98 rebuild of Dan Griffin's CFS P-39 v2 panel (with gauges by Chuck Dome, Glenn Copeland, Brian Kostick, Jay Crawford, R.L. Clark, Paul Schwerdtfeger and Andreas Jaros).
