I cannot figure out any way to start a flight with the same aircraft and at the same position I left it. This is the new file format; the .FLT file. You can name and save a file, but when you go to load it it will only put you at the end of the departure runway of the airport at which you last saved it.
This is problematic for me. Am I missing something? I have looked around to see if there is somewhere in the setup areas where this might be fixed, but I haven't found it. I'd be very happy to find out that, no, I'm just a [prohibited word], it's right in some very easy place to just flip a switch and it will be fixed. Or is it the case that here, once again, Asobo have dropped the ball and this is just the way it is?
Any guidance from you more experienced guys greatly appreciated. This is just the first of what will probably be a long string of questions which I am accumulating.
1. Your computer IS NOT tied up for hour upon hour of online "updates."
2. You can set up controllers and key commands exactly like they are in FS04, FSX, P3D, or X plane.
3. If you are going to post stuff, please make sure it's accurate. No, what you posted are not opinions.
Wow!
Seriously complicated airport!
I scratched up the three runways (ZUTF Chengdu Tianfu International.BGL) on a background polygon (ZUTF_Chengdu_Tianfu_VTPP.BGL) with a flatten (ZUTF Chengdu Tianfu International_API.BGL), using location details found on the internet, just as a place-marker for future reference, but you'll need to add what taxiways, aprons, frequencies etc. you want/need before it's of any practical use.
Those airport buildings look to be a worthwhile challenge 😉
Good luck!

I mostly agree. Having said that, the X-Box spin off, 2020, and I assume 2024, use totally different control inputs to comply with X-Box, than what most have considered the norm for decades. You'd have to relearn all you do to go to the newer Microsoft products.
But then again, I don't think you'll want to fool with the new Microsoft stuff anyway. 🫠
Don't forget P3D! Like All the Microsoft products before they caved to X-Box, P3D can be used without going on line or even having an internet connection. It also uses the same control inputs as all the older Microsoft versions. No need to learn another control system!
All the ORBX and most other add on scenery or aircraft you choose to buy or download for free for various products over decades will work fine with P3D. Though of course they won't work with the new sim!
Like most other flight sims not called 2020 or later, P3D also allows multiple screen viewsing etc. And did I mention, you don't have to live through having your computer tied up for hour upon hour of online "updates." Nor must you be a Beta Tester (or is it now called Charlie Tester) as is expected with 2020!
Hello! Maybe it's due to outdated software? Also sometimes other apps or mods can conflict with Wilco A320. Try temporarily disabling other apps to see if the problem persists. You can also try reinstalling the Wilco A320 Add-on to make sure all files are installed correctly.
Its the original airbus vol.1 by wilco for fs2004. i tried to do a flight from sbgr to sbpa but after select ils y 11 in mcdu the fs9 crashed , i tried another airport star and approach but the results are the same
