Can anyone convert my Streak Shadow (FSX) for me. It was created by RareWings for me over 10 years ago but it is sucha great aircaft. Or better still can anyone make a new one Cheers Neil

Started 2020 as normal this morning, open developer mode and nothing is visible! but go down to the task bar and it's there but I still can't open it! Any ideas? I've restored to before the last windows update so it isn't that

Yea done that myself forget to select. You know I exported an object straight from sketchup to an obj without touching it and the developer made it no problem, including re-sizing the textures and it was a 3d figure. But some simple objects won't work and I can't understand why! Neil

Hi all, I am new to Blender (just another learning curve!). I have imported some .obj's and they look great but when I try and make them with in developer mode a lot of the time they don't show, it's like hit and miss. Like the handart image I have attached. I tried to upload the .obj but I couldn't. Any info would be great. I have looked at the console but there are normally so many errors on there anyway. Neil

Hi, I am busy making farm strip scenery for 2020 and was wondering if anyone could convert some obj's from my sketchup models to working models for me (not ones I have to build myself inside the programme). I am busy learning things about the sdk and placing my models I'm getting on in years and so my brain can only take so much learning. If anyone can help until I can make time to learn it would much appreciate it. I will reward you with copies of my farm strip volumes. Thanks Neil neil.birch@ntlworld.com

Anyone fancy making a Ultra\Microlight for my Farm Strips, great commercial proposition as I intend (health permitting) to create all 300+ fields eventually. Although they only have default buidings and objects they still look great, after all it's the flying that counts. A Streak Shadow would be ideal. Neil

If you haven't noticed using the developer tool in 2020 I have been creating some Farm Strips, I eventually hope to cover all 300+ but I need a bit of help please. I haven't time to go learning Blender with all it's intricasies so I was wondering if anyone out there with the right skills could change some of my models into 2020 models for me to place. There are a few buildings that are specific to certain airports plus a few farm objects like gates I would like creating. The models are already made, if you have the skill just change them using the supplied obj and pbr textures into working 2020 models for me to share for free. Than in advance!

I have to disagree with you. Having been a Beta-Tester for 2020, I have to say you should have worked at it. Okay it has it's faults but we forget because it was so long ago so did FSX (SP1/SP2), the main one being you needed a main frame computer to run it right. One thing this new sim made me realise was how FSX without wind was like flying on rails, and I must admit it took me a long while to get used to these `new' physics. In fact I think Asobo need to include in the sim the ability to tone them down a bit, especially when landing, but it is much more like the real thing. Consider this release as the latest beta, in 12 months time we will have so may addons you won't know where to look.

Go into `Options'- `Controls', make sure your joystick is `highlighted' and change `assigned' on the left to `ALL'. Now click on settings and work your joystick and you will see it moving (hopefully), it will show you the axis name. Click on Search by Input and move your throttle. If it doesn't work it may be an Asosbo problem Set as per images. Neil

you can duplicate the same buttons for interior and exterior.

Sorted it. Multiplayer was still connected. Just in case someone else has the same problem!! It's all a learning curve.

I totally disagree! It's like flying in a real aircraft. No meesing about with the POV on top of the joystick, simply turn your head. It makes flying landing 100% more realistic.

Totally agree I fly 2020 but great as it is, it's no use to me without VR (and a microlight) I fly GA and I can work all the buttons in VR on X Plane using the mouse. 2020 will be a World beater when it has it!

totally disagree. Flying without VR is like going back to FS4!

you have quite a few analogue aircraft. The C152 for a start.
