This is a private farm strip, not located on any charts but it is a handy stopping off point when flying in this secluded area. But is only for STOL aircraft. As many of my strips this is fairly difficult to spot, but I have placed a landmark locator if you're struggling. Can be found- 3nm x 240 from the town of Thurso, 2nm x 350 from the lonely Loch Calder, or just East of the windfarm at Shebster. FREE SC189 Lismore Private Grass Strip Free for users of my Farm Strip scenery. Non users will still get the airfield but no scenery. A small private grass airstrip on the island of Lismore in Scotland, just west of Oban Airport and east of Glenforsa Airfield. A tricky field suitable only for STOL airvraft.
