  1. Yes, I've had mouse dropouts where i can access the top toolbar but not operate anything on the aircraft. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  2. The sim needs a good graphics card more than cpu power. What is yours? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  3. Forget that, just realised my wifi hub was out! Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  4. I have been trying to have a flight all morning without success. Strange things happening. I rebooted my pc and although i have the download version it is asking me to insert the game disc. Any clues? Its been fine for a couple of days now this? Thanks Stinger Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  5. No, just tried departure airport but its not listed. Looks like they missed that one. Worth reporting on Zendesk to Asobo. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  6. There us a new fsuipc out in beta at the moment. I haven't tried it yet as i am still discovering the sim but hopefully it exposes more sim events to bind onto external devices. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  7. According to the MSFS website the right panel is for an alternative binding. For the parking brakes there is only a toggle. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  8. Is anyone else having issues with the parking brakes on the C172? It works fine if i use the mouse to operate it but can't make it's mind up if it wants to be on or off when i assign an it to an external switch . Cheers for looking Stinger. P.s Have you noticed the grass and trees swaying in the wind?....brilliant. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  9. Ok, did another reboot and now they're back! All sorted thanks but still baffled. Thanks for looking Stinger Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  10. Did that and i can see them in the installed game controllers. If i then click properties i can see them operating ok. MSFS still not seeing them anymore. Seems like a bug.? Not sure what i can do now [emoji848] Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  11. I have been flying for two days when suddenly MSFS can no longer see my Saitek rudder pedals. I can see them on the windows device list but not in the SIM device list. Power light is showing ok on the pedals. I have tried rebooting, different usb port to no avail. Is there anyway of resetting? Cheers Stinger Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  12. Asobo are still in the process of negotiating all of the licences for real world liveries so they are using generic liveries at the moment. In game you can choose to see Real world traffic (using generic liveries), AI traffic or multiplayer traffic. As yet no real world world liveries. It will definitely come though. Hope this helps Stinger Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  13. Thanks for this Steve. I have been having trouble with the ATC popup sometimes not popping up. Sounds like this might sort this issue for me. Stinger Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  14. Its weird, though it's probably something we are doing wrong. It's just a matter of finding it! All part of learning the sim as i see it. Lovin it so far. I flew around Heathrow in a C172 yesterday with real traffic on. It felt so real, and scary to be there in a C172 ! Lol. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  15. Yes, i have it working on my hat switch. In control assignments just assign each point of the hat switch to look up, down left right, right up, etc and it pans just fine. Stinger Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  16. Maybe in the ASSISTANCE menu? Though I must admit i have it assigned to a joystick button and it seems to behave a bit oddly, sometimes working, sometimes not. So perhaps we share the same issue. Stinger Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  17. Glad your sorted. Now you can enjoy! Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  18. It should work with any keyboard key and it should also work if it has recognised your joystick with any joystick button. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  19. I have a home cockpit based on 8 Leo Bodnar interface cards. In MSFS they are all given the same name "Button Box ". I know that you can name a profile but for me it would be useful to given each button box a unique name. It would make it a lot easier to assign switches. Is this possible? Stinger Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  20. It is in the G1000 assuming that you are using a G1000 aircraft although i find it easier to use my phone to google....."Gatwick ils frequencies" I am not sure that Asobo have modelled the G1000 to that depth either. Cheers Stinger Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  21. I have 70mb download speed on my broadband however msfs still took 15hrs to download . This is a huge download so if your broadband is not particularly fast patience is the key. It would often seem to get stuck on a certain percentage but in time would get going again. I paused and restarted 3 times too and it picks up where it left off fine. I feel for you though, it's frustrating when you're keen to get flying. Good luck Stinger Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  22. For the ils approach ... On the G1000 press the soft button under the CDI until nav1 is showing. Tune nav 1 to the ils frequency. (You can google "Gatwick ils frequency " to find it, or use the G1000 but i can't remember which page it is on if Asobo have modelled it. Tune the CRS knob on the autopilot to the runway heading and make sure FD is pressed. Approach the runway heading from a 30 degree angle until you see the needle on the CDI move, then press the APP button on the autopilot. I think I've remembered it all from here on my sofa! LOL I'm sure someone will chip in if not. [emoji4] Btw Lydd is my local airport too, I live in Bexhill. Stinger Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  23. As for the second point, Skyvector is the place to go for charts I believe. Good luck Stinger Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  24. Ok, thanks for the reply Steve. Lots to learn about the new sim for now so I'm in no hurry. As a home cockpit builder I was chuffed that MSFS recognised my cockpit interface cards. (Leo Bodnar) This is something that i needed fsuipc for with FSX so its great that it sees them from the start. Lots of switches etc to assign of the next couple of days. [emoji16] Loving it so far.
