    Thanks guys i could use scenery config editor i guess and add a 'updated airport' heading but this is only visible prior to loading the sim i believe? I will have a look at little navmap but again i believe its only used prior to loading the sim - it would be nice to change airports when in the sim and know which ones are addons but as MS will never open the file architecture that looks to be impossible as you say. Oh well worth a thought :-(

    Merry xmas all. Just wondered if there was anyway to edit the 'go to - airport' list in the freeflight UI to highlight addon airports (ie, add a prefix, change the text colour or text size?). I have LOTS of addons worldwide and apart from consulting a long list it would be nice to know which airports i have upgraded within the game UI. Probably impossible but just a thought? Cheers Mick

    Hi m8 i deleted the DFDF file and now no crash (btw my FSX is on my M drive) sadly the scenery has trees in a black box so hardly worth the trouble. Thanks for your help Mick

    Hi Peeps I downloaded and installed the UAON Baykonur scenery from Avsim.su but when trying to 'go to' the airport it crashes my FSX? I have noticed in the scenery folder a .bgl file called 'capsule2.BGLDFDF File' - I have never seen this file prefix before and wonder if this could be causing the COTDs? Unistalled it for the time being and no other issues - any ideas peeps? Cheers Mick

    I just think addon airports and scenery are better than on FSX , more detailed and more realistic in X Plane Freeware guys the clues in the post! Theres plenty on flightsim - i guess paywares even better??

    Just a daft question probably - but why are free XPlane addon Airports/Scenerys so much better than FSX ones? Thinking of finally getting XPlane because of this very issue. Cheers Mick

    Thanks guys i will email soon - using FSX SP2 just normal deluxe boxed version. I guess im missing a step somewhere? Aircraft shows up normally btw just the panel thats the issue.

    I cant get this to work despite several attempts at installing? I either get a blank screen when in VC view or a panel with blank MFD's?? I've tried every I can think of no joy!!

    Great scenery!! However I have no AI at the airport? I use WorldofAI. Tried disabling the Fokkers but still no joy?? Other airports ok.

    PS i didnt run the .exe straight into FSX (rarely do) so im guessing there would be an automatic overwrite?

    Guys it might have been useful to drop a readme/installation guide in these downloads, re, the 0303 files and the world scenery textures. I am guessing the 0303 files are replacements? (Ive kept copies of the old ones) and the 'textures' do just go into world/scenery/textures?

    Ok just checking. Note you give the icao code as KCRP? Shouldnt it be KFIN?
