  1. Default KLFT has only three small gates. You need to add gates using ADE or AFCAD or search in this site for KLFT FS2004 and download the enhanced airport. There are few downloads available.

    Aeroproyecto IL62

    Many! Thanks Found it! Cheers
  5. Hi Have downloaded Aeroproyecto IL62 and finally managed to start the engines and fly it. Unfortunately it only comes with Cubana colors. Any idea where I coul get another Airlines paint jobs? Have searched to no avail. Thanks
  6. Hi gents, One learns something new all the time. Yes, never touched the Fligh Simulator Files in Documents folder. Got 314 Different aircraft/airlines saved - obviously all with FLT and WX extensiones Got 157 in flight saves - usually approaches. Got 858 IFRs saved with PLN extension. I never seemed to have any serious problems switching from one flight to another with correct dynamics. Untill lately. So any clue rfom Aaron would be appreciated. Oh - just noted that IL18/38 I got from Russian sim also save with .SITD, .SITI and .VPS file extensions in addition to FLT and WX, no clue what that means?
  7. Hi Aaron, Very interesting, could you please explain more in detail. In particular the Logistics of purging, mentioned? I did not touch these flights in decades. Got over 1000 saved flights there? Many Thanks,
  8. Many Thanks Tom, Apparently loading the default Cessna clears any memory from the previous flighs. Makes sense, will try it. Cheers,
  9. Hi When I get a new aircraft, I save it at the airport, fine tune it, designate it as a default and keep flying it (Have hundreds of different aircraft saved at the same airport). If I want to switch to another aircraft, I choose the previously saved flight with the aircraft I now want to fly and usually designate it as a default and keep flying that particular aircraft. ISSUE: I Noted that when switching this way from one aircraft to another the dynamics of the flight sometimes change. Example - the aircraft, which flew perfectly level and lands with perfect pitch - when selecting it again from saved flights - (after flying another saved aircraft) - behaves differently. Somehow the memory of the previously used flight affect its dynamics. Is there a remedy for this - or am I ammaginig thigs? Thanks for any thoughts.
  10. Unzipping gauges did not help, also aircraft is dark in any views. Have removed.
  11. Bit dissapointing. Gauges do not show, also aircraft fuselage-tail is just dark?

FS2004 Installation Of Functional Yokes To 2D Panels. Movable yokes for 2D panels (primarily for use at add-on aircraft). Noted that many aircraft 2D panels are missing the functional yokes. These yokes can be easily installed to aircraft panels, and opened with the button (marked 'Yoke' in yellow - installed to the panel}. The yoke opens in the middle of the screen but can then be dragged to any most realistic panel location preferable not obscuring the essential instruments. The flight can then be saved with the yoke in this position. To see the instruments behind, the yoke can always be closed by pressing the yellow button. The 18 included yokes are intended for the cockpits of: B-17, B-24, B-29, B-52, B707, B737, B747-777, B757-767, Beachcraft, Cessna, Concorde, DC8-9, Douglas props, Embraer, Learjet, MD11, Piper and VC10. Note that the actual yokes could be different, custom made for the different airlines and different aircraft types, therefore some of these might just partially resemble the authentic yokes used in these types. All included yokes can also be used for any other aircraft panels as deemed appropriate. Finally Many Thanks to all the 'free download' aircraft panel designers, great jobs! By Peter Bendl.

FS2004 Airbus Side Stick Controller. The movable side stick controller for Airbus panels. Noted that many excellent Airbus panels are missing the side stick. This side stick can be easily installed to the aircraft panel, it opens with the button (marked 'Stick' in red) installed to the panel. The side stick can then be dragged to any most realistic location (as shown in screen shot - in Airbus to the side of the panel). Actually, the stick can be used at any aircraft using the stick controller. By Peter Bendl.
  14. No issues whatsoever with W10. Bit skeptical though about W11, which will inevitable my new PC have!
  15. Great stuff guys. And thanks for the Maule's tip Dominic. Just curious why would the Amphibian drift to the left after take-off? Got the fuel in balance so bit confused?
  16. Scarry Title "Goodbye FS9" Tried them all and still stick to FS9. Few flaws it might have still overpower the glitches in the new FS products. Would need lot of convincing to leave FS9!
  17. Yes, crushes happen. Usually caused by add-on scenery or aircraft. If the crash always happens in certain segment of the flight (approaching airport, region or any flight path), I usually save the flight about a minute before the crash time. Then keep de-activating any potential (usually close to the crash area) scenery - one by one and keep opening this flight to see if the crash disappears (if it does, the scenery I have de-activated caused it). Sometimes the AI in the area can also cause the crash - this is more tricky to ID because of the different times the AI might be conflicting with given flight. So you might also turn the AI traffic to "0" to see if AI is the issue. If it is try to change the flight plans of add-on aircraft in the area, or ID the culprit (recently I found mine, when I used the complex Flyable aircraft as AI) Good luck
  18. Absolutely agree. Tried FSX and do not dare to try the new FS (Like flying and detail scenery is no issue for me). FS2004 is the best! Got it up to over 100GB with various add-ons and aircraft. A real flying - I can tell, have spent lot of time in the real cockpits.

    Tds ab350-900

Thanks, thought so. What threw me off was the notes in the TDS A350 repaints from Stefan Bree mentioning the GSE vehicles see below (but can do without it): This is a repaint of the TDS (Tenkuu Developers Studio) Airbus A350-900 model, in Luftwaffe / Flugbereitschaft - German Air Force "Theodor Heuss", 10+02. Texture only. The textures are saved in 32bit format for quality graphics. Model developed by Tenkuu Developers Studio, features high resolution textures, dynamic flexing wings, nose gear steering, rudder lock, ground spoilers, low speed aileron locks at high speed, fully animated control surfaces, fully independent suspension, trim animation, opening passenger doors, rolling wheels, animated thrust reverse with reverser block doors, detailed textures, full night lighting, ground service vehicles and more. Model design by Hiroshi Igami. Flight dynamics design by Nate Rosenstrauch. Master textures by Carlos Eduardo Salas and Stian Svensen. PBR texture by Ken Webber. By Stefan Bree.

Thanks Bernie, did exactly as you suggested: copied the VC entry into the new panel.cfg (all gauges are in my gauge folder). All 2d panel windows entries that are TDS related were also added - that is TDS utility and TDS de-bug. I can now open all the doors but still no GS equipment around the aircraft. I wish TDS would include some instructions in "tds_a350-900_release_baseset_211227" download instead of all the warning notices, rules and restrictions. CAMSIM AB350 is straight forward. The GSE opens by simply pressing Shift and F. Perhaps I am missing something?

    Tds ab350-900

Thanks gents, should have mentioned in my initial post - this is the aircraft I was talking about: tds_a350-900_release_baseset_211227 And yes as Dogdish mentioned, it has B777 cockpit with the instruction that the animation/lights control gauges are written in the vcockpit section of the panel.cfg. Well there is a vcockpit section in the panel.cfg but the VC does not show when flying. Model issue maybe?

    Tds ab350-900

The new paints available for download made me to obtain TDS AB350-900. The panel has VC and model should include GSE animations. Neither seem to work. VC does not open, and animations, except door openings, do nothing? The read me talks a lot about warnings and violations but no detail instructions. Bit disappointing since the aircraft looks and flies nice. Or perhaps I am missing something! Any views appreciated. Thanks,
