  1. Andrea, Add Flight Plan IFR from any close by airport to that airport with ILS, and ATC will tell you what altitude to hold to ontercept it.

    LH B757 to LOWI

Hi there, took LH B757 to Innsbruck. Tribute to FS2004! Cheers
  3. The site is shaping up nice and tribute to all getting involed.
  4. Many Thanks Michael, will give it a go. Best Regards.
  5. Hi, Got EVP 3.1 ever since I got FS9. Have since updated few times my EVP with some mods I downloaded (,vcpmod files). No issues, all runs well. Now I am trying to create some of my own Callsigns. The EVP User Guide mentiones that "This is covered by the tutorial", which I cannot locate. Any clue where to find the tutorial. (Can see FSX but not FS9!) Even better - pointing me to some instruction on how to create your own callsign would be appreciated. Thanks,
  6. Hi Bernard, Mine only showed up on top when I created a new version? Peter
  7. Hi gents, tried the link from Freeware scenery site to Flightsim and did not get the main Flightsim page (as mentioed), instead got this:
  8. Hi there, Just in case not known yet, the links from the freewarescenery.com to the flightsim.com no longer work. Guessing still pointed to the old Flightsim site. When doable the links should be pointedt to the the new site (here) Cheers,
  9. The Scenery.cfg file, I am talking about, is in the Main FS9 (FS2004) folder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The one in the C:\Users\Chris\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FS9 takes info from it.
  10. I do not use the scenery Library in FS to add new scenery. Instead I add it directly to scenery.cfg file. Add the new folder with (scenery and texture subfolders) to Addon Scenery folder. Open scenery.cfg text file and add new scenery to the bottom (usually copy the last one already there). Change the [Area.xxx] with next number. And change the Layer to the next number. Add the new area folder path to Title= and Local= Works all the time My last two areas: [Area.923] Title=UTTT Taskent Local=Addon Scenery\UTTT Taskent Active=TRUE Required=FALSE Layer=923 Remote= ///Added: [Area.924] Title=UTDD Dushanbe Local=Addon Scenery\UTDD Dushanbe Active=TRUE Required=FALSE Layer=924 Remote=

    PF3 ATC

I think I put it on back burner after seeing one of the Utube segments, when the voice is quite mechanistic with the words patched up. The default ATC seems much clearer. Not a question of $30 but wander how much I would gain? Also the 199 page guide is quite scary.

    PF3 ATC

I guess premature to purchase through the Store here? No finish purchase button? Their web download is acting up also?

    PF3 ATC

The 199 page instructions mention FS9 so it should work with v3. Tempting to purchase it after I saw some impressive uTube videos. Usually learn by trial and error. So curious how it will work? Will comment here. Perhaps one page instruction should suffice

    PF3 ATC

Thanks for the link to guide. Surely a lot to study. Will try to digest the logistics and give it a try. On surface sound impressive,

Thanks John. Will pick a good day to give it a shot and share my findings. It sounds too good to be true, so will see. Cheers

    PF3 ATC

Also forgot to ask above, Do the frequencies change automatically while switching in ATC window - as wit default ATC?

    PF3 ATC

Thanks John, In addition to JSMR questions: Just curious if the PF3 communication is done the similar way as with the default ATC. Or, opening the comm window, pressing number keys 1,2,3,4,5........ to ask or response to ATC? See screenshot. Also can the communication be accelerated in congested areas - like in the default by Edit Voicepack acceletration? Thanks for any know-hows.

    PF3 ATC

Hi there, comtemplating about getting "PF3-ATC At Its Best" available in the Store here for download. Wander if anyone has any experience with it? Got FS2004 and do mainly IRF flights with standatrd Voice Pack- accelerated with some added call signs through EditVoicepack. Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks,
  19. Hi, See you chaps are working hard. Like the Landing Pages for downloads including the latest downloads column - Great! Now hanging under discussio surely to be moved to downloads. The lay-out is perfect. Many Thanks
  20. Would be great to have the Latest Downloads (by date) list shortcut. AVSIM has Whats New button, very useful.
  21. Hi all and yes getting used to the new site. In my case speed does not seem to be an issue. BUT! Really, would like to see the Latest Uploads listed, showing the newest one on top. Always looked at it first in old site. The Hot Files are OK but list the uploads by the number of downloads, not by the dates uploaded. Or maybe I am missing something?
  22. Hi, Looking for the latest list of uploads and noted in one of the posts mentioning this from Admin : New files or most recent are now listed on homepage of the forums. Looking hard but cannot find it? Any advise on where to see the latest uploads would be appreciated. Many Thanks
  23. Hi gents, Cannot emphasize enough how essential is to have the "Latest Downloads Link" in this site, listing ALL the recent downloads (regardless of Categories) by date. Hope it is considered to be added soon. Many Thanks.
  24. Version 2

    29 downloads

Aircraft information display in 2D panel, primarily for communication with ATC. The small window containing the airline, aircraft registration and flight ID can be opened by the small ATC button in any 2D panel. The window can then be resized and moved to any free panel space. Many actual cockpits have the aircraft registration on a small tag in view of the tech crew (In FS, this info is typed in aircraft.cfg behind 'atc_id=' (example N557UA). The flight number is typed in aircraft.cfg behind 'atc_flight_number='(example 376). The operating airline is typed in aircraft.cfg behind 'atc_airline='(example United). By installing this gauge, all this info is compiled in a small window and is readily viewed by FS pilot.
