  1. Double Aaargh.....I see what's happening now, the previous threads Ive posted in do actually have a star but its greyed out and barely visible in the dark scheme I use...this thread initially had a blue star when I posted but this too has now turned grey, im unsure what the colour difference signifies
  2. Aaargh...it does now ......that's weird, no star in previous threads I've posted in but now Ive posted in here a star appeared maybe something invloving the transition
  3. Oh well at least he didnt suggest AvSim [shudder]
  4. Aah, after tying myself in knots with multi open windows and thinking it wasnt, I can confirm on trying out the Eastern Livery, it actually is the directory structure fault as above
  5. This is often caused by the unzipped files being 2 directories deep, the structure should be livery name/files but often the unzipped structure is livery name/livery name/files which doesnt work. if this is so Just go down one level and copy paste into community
  6. Rolling cache is a waste of space, leave it turned off as you have Not that it has anything to do with your autopilot problem
  7. Well this is the FS 2020 section so I'm taking a guess that's the sim he is referring to. The DC3 in the sim is a bit of a handful at take off you do have to predict any swing especially with a crosswind or at least react very quickly to it without putting in too much input. What works best for me is starting with stick back till 35 - 40mph then Letting stick move central till the tail comes up of its own accord rather than pushing forward to lift it , this reduces the swing due to gyroscopic effect. It follows classic taildragger characteristics but with the added challenge of high inertia compared to smaller stuff. Practice is the only solution.
  8. Yea..loads of em. Glass panels are less work for aircraft developers so there are plenty
  9. Understandable, Its a mess (Tapatalk that is)
  10. He was talking about when they had to be fitted to cars not when you had to actually wear them, I believe the fitment law in Britain was about the same time as in USA 67/68
  11. This is a known bug, it happens when you are in ,multiplayer mode and an A310 is somewhere near, the external sounds from the A310 get overdubbed on your end...my solution was to delete the A310 as I dont use it anyway (similar bug if there is a Curtiss Jenny nearby, you get the sounds from it overdubbed I deleted that also)
  12. Only just noticed this on a re-read of your post, single engined Prop planes with a clockwise prop rotation (when viewed from the cockpit) will exhibit a pull to the left during take off, this is something that you correct with control inputs not by changing the setup or calibration of your controls, this may be your problem
  13. Yea updates sometimes mess with settings, I've even had an update turn on assists which you really dont want. Widgy, what is a C&D start?
  14. That has to be the most thinly disguised flex Ive seen this week, Bravo:cool:
  15. Gotta link?, I can only find a version for FS9, FSX AND P3D
  16. Ah I see, when you said it you spend minutes adjusting them I couldnt relate that to just turning a dimmer, which takes seconds
  17. In the 172, steam gauge version there are 2 dimmers just to the left of the throttle, you may have to hide the yoke to see them depending on your set viewpoint.
