  1. Your [DISPLAY] entry has a spelling mistake in it - NVIDEA should be NVIDIA, mine looks like this: [DISPLAY.Device.NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti.0.0] Mode=1920x1080x32 AntiAlias=1 TriLinear=1 Notice that there is also a space between GTX and 1050. Your entire [DISPLAY] line is corrupt, that's why it doesn't work. Delete your FSX.cfg [DISPLAY] section, NOT your Shaders folder, and reboot FSX. Your [DISPLAY] section will be re-created correctly when FSX launches and you'll be back to normal.
  2. Most of the switches and levers are clickable in the VC, but not the radio buttons or the adjusters on the HSI, ADF, ALT and DME gauges unfortunately. It's the way the model itself has been made. There are a few decent 120's available, the Premaircraft one has a useable VC.
  3. I just installed it with no problem. Maybe it was just a corrupt download? Try downloading it again, and unzip the "woa_airiceland_v1.zip" file to get the "Air_Iceland.woai.zip" file, which the WOAI Installer.exe can install from.
  4. Hi Myrone, the TDS airplane title is a copyright protection device and if you edit it the wings, undercarriage and other details will disappear. Try searching the Library for an AI 787, I found 40 of them here: https://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/fslib.php?searchid=67988398
  5. Tail rotor failure. It's not a question of IF but WHEN. Sorry I couldn't resist - but this is a very sad loss to the community and I hope they can get back online soon.
  6. Sadly it's a cat after all: http://albindenis.free.fr/Site_escadrille/escadrille069.htm If you view this site using Chrome browser it'll automatically translate from French for you. The 'erotic' insignia was stylised for enamelled badges and keyrings, the insignia used on the aircraft was definitely a black cat! _./\__/\ =( ' . ' )=
  7. Hans, I found this solution from 2010 at AVSIM: In case anyone should search for this problem in the future, here is the answer: Run regedit. Delete this entry under: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\GameUX\S-1-5-21-1380981980-2726883197-928252028-1000 Your registry entry may have a different number, but delete it and just leave the Games and MachineSettings subfolders in the GameUX folder.
  8. Hans, maybe Windows Defender is blocking the first click on FS9.exe? It would block the program until it had checked online that it's not malicious. You could try adding FS9.exe to Defender's Exclusions list, or disable Defender altogether: https://www.repairwin.com/enable-disable-windows-defender-windows-78-10/
  9. If there's a version 2 available it means problems like this one with version 1 needed to be fixed! Use the version 2 instead!

FS2004 BAe Panel Project-PAD Jetstream 31 Panel Merge. These files create a merge between the FS2004 BAe Panel Project Jetstream 31 panel by Matthias Lieberecht, and the FS2004 Premier Aircraft Design Jetstream 31 model by Barry Blaisdell, Jean-Pierre Brisard and Bob May. This merge requires the Premier Aircraft Design Jetstream 31 to be installed in FS2004 already. The BAe Panel Project Jetstream 31 panel is not required for this merge, but familiarity with the original panel and its excellent manual is highly recommended. The panel requires Doug Dawson's XMLSound gauge to be installed in FS2004 already. This merge includes an optional configuration file for Nick's AI Jet Exhaust effects, which must be installed in FS2004 already. By Tim Wright.
  11. There's one for an FSX portover with the v2 panel here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1LgF2KWc1IrFpyr0W9C-5wuPu0Ki0nxijZ0jHOf_8y0g/edit
  12. FS2004 does most of it's graphics processing on your CPU, and it will always maintain FPS over any other process such as rendering. Therefore I have my FS2004 locked at 25fps which gives my CPU more time for rendering sharp graphics.
  13. Received and understood KN! I do like to see a really good VC, I don't like planes that don't have them in fact. I've noticed that on my rig after a long flight in the VC my framerates begin to drop drastically, and that if I switch back to 2D view, the framerate returns to normal. I can can still monitor the instruments too of course. It's good to have that option and on longer flights of 2 hours or more I spend more time in 2D view than the VC.
  14. An excellent suggestion ColR! I refuse to buy any VC-only aircraft because it's only half a plane to me, and I would buy several of them this weekend (it's pay day today!!) if only they had 2D panels...
  15. Thanks Chuck, I was hoping it wasn't UK2000 scenery and it doesn't look like part of anything they would create... it seems to be a highly-detailed part of a military vehicle or aircraft. I also have FTX Global and UTX Europe installed, but no military add-ons at all. I've had so many mid-air building collisions in FSX:SE that I've switched off collision damage & detection altogether, I've no idea where they're coming from though!
  16. Strange but True! In FSX:SE I've just spotted this UFO hovering at FL280 over RAF Cranwell, UK (one of UK2000's VFR Airfields sceneries but I don't think this object is part of that scenery): This raises two important questions: 1. Whatisit? 2. Has anyone else seen it, or anything like it?
  17. I have an embarrassment of FS2004: 148gb in a single install, that's just the main folder size and doesn't include external mesh or utilities folders. If my wife reads this, I got it ALL in the Sales
  18. bbrz is correct, there are a few turboprops in FS with working autothrottles - Castaner's ATR72 (well worth a look, Gypsymoth!) and Molina's Dash 8-400 panel for example - I've had a lot of fun with both of these btw, give them a try! But in reality the nearest thing turboprops have to an autothrottle is IAS Hold, which is only used during the climb phase. The rest is done by skilful use of the torque and fuel flow gauges and once you've mastered that, you don't need no stinking autothrottle! :D

  20. You need to install the passenger version of Warwick Carter's Tiger Moth first.

  22. FSAddon's Super Cub is well worth consideration, it's by the same developer: http://secure.simmarket.com/fsaddon-piper-super-cub.phtml
  23. Thank you Carlyle for a very professionally made scenery package, not only the airport but the entire island! This is a must-have add-on for;) FS9! ;)
  24. Hi Kayjaysee, you do need the FS2004 CLS Piper Arrow 4 Free to be installed first to get the base model and textures.

FS2004 Piper Arrow Plus 2. This package is for the FS2004 version of the CLS Piper Arrow 4 Free.
