  1. It’s the C337 Skymaster from Carenado https://www.carenado.com/sitecarenado/product/c337-skymaster-msfs2020/ Regards Steve
  2. This afternoon I took off from Naples & headed for the cliffs at Sorrento. I’m running quite a powerful rig but I too was seeing what you’re seeing, with the scenery popping out as you get close. It’s clearly a fault. Regards Steve
  3. Welcome back to the forum and this fantastic hobby :) I upgraded to Windows 11 some time back and never had any problems. You don’t need Win 11 for the sim though (yet) Windows 10 is ok if you prefer. Regards Steve
  4. Hi Johny, I’m not sure how you have done it but I’m glad you’ve finally sorted it. Happy flying :) Regards Steve
  5. Just taken off from EGDH & headed north & noticed that the infamous greeting in the grass has been removed (and rightly so) Not sure when it happened but it looks like Asobo rushed into removing it LOL Regards Steve
  6. I would do as David has suggested. When you launch the sim, you should be prompted by the update screen and it wont go any further until you update. When it's done & the sim is ready to play.. click on Marketplace and download the Italy world update. regards Steve
  7. Will it let you uninstall the C172 in the content manager & then reinstall it? If so, turn presumably the views will be corrected? Regards Steve
  8. I notice the first splash screen now looks like it’s from MS Flight Simulator 95! Well, the logo & font does anyway. Regards Steve
  9. Again, you’re saying downloaded (it’s causing a bit of confusion :)) If you bought the 10 DVDs and have INSTALLED all 10 (not downloaded) then yes, you will need to keep disc 1 in the drive whenever you launch MSFS. Regards Steve
  10. He’s not just getting CTDs though.. he’s also getting the blue screen of death, so somethings not quite right Regards Steve
  11. Hi, If you’ve bought the disc version, then it always needs disc 1 to be in your drive for it to run. Although.. you say you downloaded the 10 discs? Regards Steve
  12. It is strange then! I presume you were prompted by the little update the other night? Edit: the missing hanger was the large, double one with the big parking area in front. However.. it’s back! Just relaunched the sim and everything’s as it should be again. I guess I picked the wrong week to quit drinking :) Regards Steve
  13. Just had a quick flight around EGNM (Leeds/Bradford) with the Orbx EGNM addon…. and noticed the Multiflight hanger has disappeared! Presumably this is down to the latest update. Regards Steve
  14. Hi, I presume you know you shift+P (should) stop pushback? Of course you should be able to request it via the ATC too. If you do want to uninstall.. then yes, it’s an easy process, albeit a long one. I have done it many times. You don’t need to buy it again. This might help.. https://flightsimulator.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360016107019-Microsoft-Store-version-How-to-repair-or-remove-and-do-a-clean-install-of-Microsoft-Flight-Simulator Regards Steve
  15. Possibly. Won’t do any harm and you can always put back up again. Have you tried motion reprojection? You can enable it via OpenXR Dev tool. I’m not a huge fan of it, but it does make VR pretty smooth, although mine is running so smoothly now anyway since latest nvidia drivers. VR Flight Sim Guy swears by it. Regards Steve
  16. Being in the UK I haven’t heard of the incident.. but I’m guessing they gave out the call “can anybody fly a plane?” Surely you can’t be serious :) Regards Steve
  17. What do you have rendering scale set to? If it’s at 100, try dropping it a little. I think mine is currently on 75 or 80 - can’t check as it’s just told me there’s a mandatory update available! Edit: that was a quick update, whatever it was. Think it was more Xbox than MSFS. Norton questioned it which was a first! Anyway, my rendering scale is currently on 75% Regards Steve
  18. No problem David. One thing I do recommend though (unless you’re going to be flying with your monitors regularly) is to drop all your pc (monitor) graphics settings to low / minimum You’ll find that when you start a VR flight, it’s ready to go much quicker. Regards Steve
  19. The moon & stars look ok to me. If I take a screenshot and zoom in, the moon does look a little blurry. It's nowhere near as clear as it would be if I took an actual photo of the real moon.. but I think it's fine for the sim. By the way, I presume you'll have watched some of VR Flightsim Guy's videos?there as some excellent ones, like this one.. Regards Steve
  20. Hi David, I was actually hoping for a screenshot taking in VR... but I realise thats a bit tricky :) I've just made a quick video, showing how mine looks at night. I wonder how it compares to yours. Regards Steve
  21. Hi David, glad you’re enjoying the G2. I can’t say I fly much at night, but have t noticed any blurriness when I have done. Any chance of a screenshot? Regards Steve
  22. You’re using add-on liveries though, yes? Some say that the textures correct themselves as they get closer (which would explain why your own planes are fine) As well as the posts on the avsim forum, there are also posts about it on the official forum.. https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/wings-are-now-pink-since-su5/429786 Regards Steve
