    A more accurate and meaningful graph would be the retention factor. 20 - 25 year olds may be higher but how many stick with it? I have been a MSFS follower since FS4 whenever that was and I am 65 now and have had every version (including 3 types of FSX and 5 P3d's) since excepting 2020 as I now cannot afford the PC upgrade being decrepit and poor and refuse to be a paying beta tester. :D

Anyway I have seen enough to a have had the decision made for me, I won't be bothering until all the obvious bugs have been worked out. I've been an avid MSFS user since v5.1 having bought every single iteration of the sim including FSXm FSX Gold and FSXSE now its cousin P3d 1 thru' 5. Clearly the public are being duped/used as testers on this occasion. Be honest. Maybe a year from now I will revisit the possibility of this purchase.

    I have 3 X 21" monitors - wondering if Pseudo Full Screen works with MSFS2020. In FSX & P3D I run in windowed mode with PseudoFS thereby allowing me to free up 2 screens for PlanG' moving map and Weather and other utilities.

    Tornado was hard meeting the strict timings on missions. Was also a pain constantly tinkering with the config.sys and autoexec.bat files to free up as much of the base 640k memory as possible. Then along cams Falcon 3 and the game changed. Remarkable that the bones of that sim still exist in Falcon BMS.

    Nope no idea who Simon is/was. Forums were not a thing back then only bulletin boards and such like. FS.com didn't even exist I think probably. I go back to a Sinclair Spectrum running a flight sim by a company called Psion which was possibly a rip off of one of the early FlightLogic sims. B&W wire graphics and very small world to fly within. :-) Then graduated to the first iteration of Falcon on an Amiga. Didn't get a PC until '94 when I saw FS5.1 at a neighbors house and was stunned by its graphics. :-o Had every MSFS since then. Doubt I will be buying MS2020 in the immediate future though. Retirement and finances restricting on new equipment to run it. :-(

    Tried it in FSXSE - works fine looks great, very small anomaly (flicker) re layering with something else, probably Ultimate Terrain or FTX Global. It's a keeper as and when I go to CYWG.

    Go toi Avsim search for pseudo_full_screen.zip Works a treat in FSX and XP11 and Skyrim lol, so I see no reason for it not to work on an earlier sims.

    I would recommend seeking out Radar Contact v4 which used to be a commercial program but illness meant the developer decided to let it go for free - It may be available here or Avsim. Then seek out voicepacks under the title of Meatwater (10 files) again probably here. It is really a superior replacement of the standard FSX ATC but it does provide the said voices you want.

    I am taking advantage of the current quarantine to actually learn the programming of the FMC's in Level D and my PMDG. Something which has taken me almost 17 years to get around to doing. :)
