This is one nice freeware download. I already had the A340 Tom A342 in the Aerolineas Argentinas loaded in the computer, so I approached this as a regular Repaint download. Applied the texture, the aircraft.cfg info to my existing bird and we were good to go! Download included  a folder called "Main.dds" which contains a lot of texture files. Never did apply that as the bird flew good as it was! This download came from a Multi aircraft download, and I am thinking maybe that folder is required when you have various other aircraft being used. It had provisions for a -200, -300, -500 and a -600 aircraft for download. Any way, i only applied the f1 texture to the Etihad -200 aircraft I already had loaded and "all is good!"  The folder is too small to make a good boat anchor, so I guess it will stay stored in my temp files until I need it OR I decide to can it? Plane flies great. Very pleased I made the move!

Downloaded this aircraft years ago, deleted, should have left it be!

 

90 KIAS indicated cruise, I guess that will pass up some of the J3 cubs that gets in it's way.

 

Takeoff, this bird acts like it's got some spunk, but in my opinion, in cruise mode it falls flat on its face!

180hp, should offer more than it does. Some C-152's out there with 100hp will get at least 100-105 KIAS cruise.

 

Other than lacking performance, this is a nice aircraft to have.

I had the Grumman F-14D US Navy Last Fighter 1970-2006 163904 and wanted to add others that Dino modeled. I downloaded this and received the same identical plane above. Same thing happened to another download and I am getting the same aircraft and I will make mention on that posting also.

So, I have downloaded 3 airplanes and rec'd the same aircraft 3 times. 163904 is shown on the rear section of the fuselage of all 3 aircraft.

No views to from the cockpit to the outside? Most Vistaliner downloads that I checked, also did not have outside views, "What's up with that?"

 

Other than that, it's a very nice download!

Okay, forget I posted the above comment. Here is what I had to do to make this a "keeper" for being a nice flying aircract:

 

In the aircraft.cfg under the [airplane_geometry] section, I silenced // out the entry

 

//flap to aileron_scale=0.3

 

Don't know what this was to accomplish, did nothing for me, other than add some frustration to my day! Anyway, it is gone now, again A.F. Scrub , you have a nice flying aircraft in my collection. Can't speak for others out there, but mine is good!

I love this aircraft BUT I'd like to know how to get this thing to roll down the runway straight when flap have been selected. You can takeoff with zero flaps and the aircraft rolls straight down the runway! I have tried everything that I can think of, but hitting deadends every move I try!

 

Thanks for any help you can offer! It is a "keeper" if I can get this problem solved!

See my comments in the aryus_c56x_airpink_yu-bzm.zip download listing! Both are mirror images of one another, and the issue and fix was the same for both aircraft!

Okay, I found the problem or should I say a solution? Go in to the aircraft.cfg to the [contact points] section and go down to the Static CG height = 5.16 and change that value to 4.23 and all should be good! I downloaded another of Jeffrey Bryner's Citation off one of the other sims, N771DE, another nice aircraft with the same values, so I feel quite certain that my fix for that download will work well with this as well. I will try this download in the morning and see if all is well. If I don't report back, all will be good with both aircraft!

This was a lot of "head scratching" for me, but, the download and results are well worth the effort!

A beautiful freeware download! I downloaded it and then didn't fly it much, but, recently did and had a problem when taxi'ng, the aircraft acted like it was hitting ruts in the taxiway and if you quickly opened an outside view, the tires were billowing smoke!

 

Never could find a fix for it and the only way I solved it, was to send it to File13 trash! Anyone else who has had this problem and was able to fix it, please post the fix. I will check back periodically, because I would love to go back to it with problem solved!

Okay, very nice Milton Shupe aircraft, however, if you are running FSX, do yourself a favor and download the below file PV1fsx.zip and you should have good results. When I downloaded this file, plane kept stalling on approach to landings! I tried everything, different loadings, different models, different cfg settings, all the same results. Deleted this out of frustration, and then found the PV1fsx file, downloaded that and all is good!

 

Good luck, this, as all other Milton Shupe aircraft are, is a great flying download!

Very nice, BUT, a large hole in the top of the fuselage!

2482 downloads and not one negative post on this aircraft. If the aircraft didn't present itself as well as it did, I would have flushed it down File 13 long ago. Most of these AI aircraft converted to flyable are not worth the effort in getting them up to speed of being a reliable flyable aircraft. Upon flying after my download, the aircraft flew great until trying to land this bird. The aircraft descended all the way to the runway and stopped just short of touchdown and held that postion all the way to the end of a 10000' runway! I experimented moving many model files, air files and aircraft.cfg files from other FSpainter downloads, not really finding a real fix. I suspected a problem in the contact points from the beginning, but never really acted upon trying another. Out of desperation, I finally did "borrow" a set of contact points from a Project Opensky aircraft and the aircraft will now land the way it is supposed to land!

 

It surely amazes me that developers continue to release aircraft downloads without making sure their download is worthy of putting their name on the release. 2482 downloads and this is the first negative comment for this freeware download? Did all these people TRY to get this to fly properly, only to find that is was only fitting for a trip to the File 13 trash can? Oh well, I saw my efforts all the way to having a nice aircraft and it only gives it a little something extra to make it special, knowing how hard it was to get it to being a "keeper!" No thanks to the developer, that is for sure!

 

Would I recomment FSpainter aircraft converted from AI to flyable? NO, don't put yourself thru the hours of frustration in making it work! Not worth the effort!

Beautiful example of the new American livery, HOWEVER, at dusk the 3rd section (rearward) of engine cowling on both engines disappear.

 

I have deleted this aircraft with disappointment and will stick with the A350-900 Delta download that so far all appears to be working!

 

Slow down Camil, all pieces of your offerings have to work (day or night) before you can expect a "thumbs up!"

Older download, but very nice! However, I pulled out some more hair trying to find out why the aircraft was pulling left on takeoff. Finally found it, Engine.0, had it's placement at -21.250, should have shown -21.350 to match Engine.1. Once I made the change, the aircraft tracked straight down the center line!

This is a FS2002 freeware download. I am running FSX and I was able to drop an FSX panel and sound folder to get the aircraft to appear. What a nice looking aircraft, but sad to say there is no glass to be had?????

 

I tried both of Bob Chicilo's update for the aircraft, no change!

Well, I guess I meet this download again, same issue. In the aircraft.cfg for fuel, the Center 1 fuel tank shows a

-2 in the second field. Aircraft will continue to pull left on takeoff roll and climb until you change the -2 to 0, and then all will be good! Other than that, this freeware download is a very nice flying aircraft, once you make the correction to that Center 1 fuel tank entry! Enjoy, this is the second freeware download I have from Joe Shimmel. I also have his Airbus A330 US Airways aircraft!

Yes, nice download, but, you forgot some important things like a tachometer and Manifold Pressure! Not a problem for me, I usually tweak my download panels to my liking when I finish downloading!

 

Anyone needing any help with making this download a keeper, PM, me and I can get you what you need!

A great flying aircraft! I only wish the texture'd paint would have been white instead of silver, BUT, I will take the great flying this download offers and forgive the colorings!
