Could you please provide a detailed step-by-step explanation of your installation sequence?
I suspect the problem may be solved by following the procedure below:
Win10 does not (now) accept the original out-of-the-box fs9.exe (as explained elsewhere) so you need to substitute the original FS9.exe with FS9 "xyz" (the programme which cannot be named) first. Now load the sim. After this boots up and allows you to accept the EULA, reboot your computer. Now swap out the "xyz" (programme which cannot be named) with the original .exe and install the FS9.1 patch and then the FS9.1 (programme which cannot be named).
Or at least that's how I've had to reinstall FS9 in Win10.
That's because of Lagosim's Intelisound module. Originally developed for Laogosim's FS2002 FS SoundScape it was included in the original 2002 Emma Field and then further developed for inclusion in Lago's FS9 FS Enhancer programme (and included in the updated 2004 Emma Field). Ground breaking programmes, actually.
Not v.1.4 but have been using a DC3 Airways v.1.1 for years now. Manfred's .air and .cfg files are the default FS9 DC3 anyways, so it should work (I've been using it in the MAAM Sim DC3 all this time). You're welcome to a copy if you so wish.
If this question is about the location of the carriers, from the Readme:
"There is it in the vicinity of N31*40.00' W176*04.00' of an offing of Midway Islands."
Just fyi, the white compound (paint & powder mixture) sanitizes rain water as it runs off the roof into a holding tank. This is considered to be "potable water". All because there is no other natural source of fresh water on the island.
Thought the aircraft.cfg entry for atc_id=xxx was overridden by the registration # supplied in the flightplan.
So such a flightplan would read:
AC#1001,0931,1%, ...
AC#1001,0932,1%, ...
et cetera.
