  5. Gi'day Christopher, Let us know when you reach the 21st or 22nd use (for free). As johnhinson says: ït's a "myth" FSNav is free after the trial period is over. Personally, I wish it was free ... I missed out purchasing FSNav while it was for sale (heavy sigh! :( ). Regards, Dorian
  6. Gi'day, What João says. :) Regards, Dorian
  7. Gi'day, Will this be recorded (YouTube?) at all? Time constraints here, on the other side of the world, means I'm gonna have to miss this. Regards. Dorian
  8. Playing Devil's Advocate here ... have you tried the most obvious solution (suggested by the author himself) ... lowering your scenery density down to Dense? Regards, Dorian
  9. !Vivat! Regards, Dorian
  10. Sincerest apologies for double posting ... something went really screwy somewhere. Regards, Dorian

  13. Gi'day João, You're using Firefox, huh? ;) Firefox is extremely aggressive with their Certificate identification process ... well-intentioned but a touch over zealous at times (IMO); yes I have had the *bizland.com error warning too. However, because I have downloaded aircraft & repaints from PAD recently that warning no longer pops up (I had to clear my browser cache just to get it to display that warning again :) ). Have re-accessed PAD yet again and test downloaded the PAD DHC-6 and a Winair repaint. I use MS Defender and have my firewall up, ... it's not a spoof site, nor have I had a virus warning or signs of any attack upon my firewall. YMMV, of course. And yes, you are right to be cautious. Regards, Dorian PS. Great to see Alaskan Winds back in the air again. Still have a Michael Sturm AW repaint of Mike Stone's Goose in my hanger.
  14. ?!? Huh !?! PAD is still open for "support queries and the distribution of new repaints" (and has been since 21.03.21) ... at least according to the bookmarks in my browser. Regards, Dorian
  15. Bill Lyons Custom Classics G21a Grumman Goose (once payware, re-released as freeware). FDE by FSAviator (available from CalClassic). This a/c is a joy to fly (by the numbers) from the VC. My personal preference (whilst in VC) is not to load Jack, Corky or Sarah as co-pilot(s) (they're just a tad too creepy for my liking). YMMV of course. Way too many repaints of extremely high caliber to list. I use Aaron R. Swindle/Skysong Soundworks payware sound package "Grumman Goose/Pratt & Whitney R-985 Wasp Junior HD-Audio FSX STEAM FS9".
  16. Search for FS9.1 ATC Modification.zip Regards, Dorian
  17. Me! Me! Pick me! Would trade in my LCD flat screen for a CRT without a moment's hesitation. With CRT there's no up-scaling blur, there's no need to run at native resolution, motion resolution is wayyyy better, there's no display lag, and you can run at much higher refresh rates (up to 160 Hz). Yes, they're bigger and weigh a ton, but they cannot be beat for gaming or any digital graphics work. YMMV, of course. Regards, Dorian
  18. Ye Gods & Little Fishes! So much acrimony and vitriol. Please, play nicely, children. Regards, Dorian
  19. Always going to be a pipe dream for this simmer ... (i) NZ South Island rural wireless Internet is advertised as delivering "on average" 29Mbps; (ii) the reality is usually just 10Mbps (enough to get Netflix) most of the time. These speeds are well below ideal to run MSFS (50Mbps). Oh, and yes ... we're also capped (300Gb a month). We chew through 280Gb of data a month just doing the usual day-to-day internet stuff ... so d/ling MSFS and updates/upgrades is just not going to be possible without blowing our monthly usage cap. One very unhappy camper ... Dorian
  20. That's some pretty heavy snow there on Mitre Peak (1st image) for this time of year. Love the 4th shot. Regards, Dorian
