  1. You could try looking on EBay or Amazon.com, plenty for sale on there.
  2. New Zealand has any number of active volcanoes: Whakaari/White Island is the most current one, and then there's: Taranaki/Mt Egmont, Ruapehu, Ngauruhoe, Tongariro, Tarawera, Mayor Island, the Taupo and Auckland volcanic fields, Mayor Island, Brothers Volcano, and Raoul Island. Come visit the shakey isles.
  3. Might want to check out Robin Corn's ex-payware (now freeware) RealNZ/Godzone sceneries available both here and Avsim. There are 13 in total, all very high quality photoreal airports and scenic locations. Regards, Dorian
  4. Yes, a very nicely detailed scenery ... but somewhat sterile and devoid of life (yes there is the obligatory zombie crowd on Maho Beach and I even noticed some dancers on the floor at either the Sunset Bar(?) or the Refuge(?), but that was it). Not knocking it, but with the level of detail (for example: gleaming plastic cafeteria chairs at Grand Case/Esperance) the scenery could have been raised a notch or three with the introduction of some passengers, luggage and airport staff. YMMV of course.
  5. Attaboy Robin. Here's to a speedy recovery. All the best, Dorian
  6. Sim: FS9. Aircraft: Bill Lyons Grumman JRF-2 Goose. Mods: FSAviator's G21 Goose enhanced realism .air file; and RealEngine v1.1 Mission: Ferry 3 volcanologists (and assorted equipment) from St Marteen (TNCM) to E.T. Joshua (TVSV) St Vincent & the Grenadines to study La Soufriere during its recent "effusive eruption stage". Scenery: FlyTampa St. Marteen Complete; and Chris Wilkes Islands of the West Indies (I know, I know, TVSV has been de-commissioned :), but it's still operational in my iteration of the Caribbean). Summary: performed a missed approach on final - #2 engine acting up since Martinique (fluctuating rpms); executed a water landing in Kingston Harbor.
  7. Stock: TransAtlantic and England-Australia.
  8. Hmmmm ... this freight dog prefers his cargo NOT talkin' back at him ;)
  9. It's the 2005 Pantaray installer that's the problem; by simply changing it to run in WinXP SP2 or 3 Compatability mode, it will then properly execute. I've already PM'd Casey on how to fix the problem.
  10. Gi'day Casey, Actually the .exe works fine; it's a 2005 Pantaray Software Systems installer. To get it to work in later versions of Windows: Right click the .exe programme (FS9_Dh89a.exe), go to Properties/Compatability/Compatability Mode tick Run this Program in Compatability Mode: select Windows XP (service pack 2 or 3) Select Apply and then OK. Programme will execute to wherever you want to install it (preferably a temp folder where you can then manually move it to FS9). Regards
  11. ai_ships.zip by Holger Sandmann is the go-to tutorial.
  12. Check Google: cayman airways tail art; plenty of images to choose from.
  13. Bora Gora lagoon? (And don't forget to be reading Murder on the Footbridge whilst waiting for the Clipper to land ;) ).
  14. Unfortunately, not every where in the world ... does not allow for registration of New Zealand (or Australia) customers :(

  16. Try "Bing" translator ... love the "playing a game of chess with a baboon" comment though ... :D
  17. Waterfox Classic (2020.09) Had to use IE v.11 to get it to download anything (and we all know that iteration ain't gonna be around much longer).
  18. Not any longer ... now getting a "403 Forbidden Don't have permission to access this resource" code. Which is a shame.
  19. Look under Utilities: http://www.thefreeflightsite.com
  20. Think this scenery was originally compiled with AFW (Airport for Windows) (a FS98-2002 programme and not all that compatible with the FS2004 SDK). Could try recompiling with SCASM (as long as the header code wasn't stripped out during the decompile) ... good luck, as I can never get decomplied scasm .bgls to recompile, ever!
  21. Yep, a 5+ year old thread, but an extremely helpful reply. Added HardCub's tweak to Bill Lyon's Grumman Goose VC and must say instruments are looking way better now. Thanks.
  22. Thank you very much. Regards, Dorian
  23. Many thanks. You have more mail. ;)
  24. Still looking for a replacement copy of this database. Abacus has since folded up tent and gone walkabout!!! The copy of the database I have is severely corrupted. Any help would be most appreciated. TIA. Dorian
