  1. I had the same problem until I checked the two panels as shown below. At least it worked for me. Ron
  2. Enable "On Line Functionality". This setting resolved "greyed out" issues I was having with MS20. Resolution may vary with other users. Content Manager now has 107 instead of 2 results found My Library is full of more Content than I can deal with right now Market Place is no longer greyed out. Summary: Updates downloaded as normal. Data Limit Cap was not an issue. My problems were all due to operator error. Screen shots for reference.
  3. Some of the Flight Training files in Content Manager will not download because a "newer game version is required to update". What does this mean and how do I upgrade to a "newer game version" -Ron
  4. My 4 attempts to download took 14 hours with ethernet cable to modem connection. Download speed for me average 20Mb/s over a phone line (that's phone line). There is no fiber optics or cable service here. The best wifi speed money can buy for phone line service here is 31Mb/s downlink and 3Mb/s uplink. I don't doubt that bit errors are causing problems with my Digital Edition download. I've monitored the Install Packages path files at C:\Users\name\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Official\OneStore. Personally, I can't tell if all files are downloaded, complete or somehow corrupted. I have 68 files @95Gb and only 2 out of 30 planes are listed. I would be thankful if someone could share their file size and content for comparison.
  5. In step 2: Where on the Content Manager is there a tab to "Select the content you want to see in the sim" Do I enter a plane by name like "Cessna 172" in the search box? Not sure where to select the content.
  6. Just to confirm, for simmers that have the complete fully operational, 30 plane premium deluxe digital package installed, does your Install Package Path look the same as mine? This is a snap shot of the top segment from the beginning of my file. I'm trying to determine if I have a machine problem, settings problem or download problem. Appreciate any help. Microsoft zendesk doesn't help much. Thanks, Ron
  7. Good to know. Digital Signature same location as yours. Thank you, Ron
  8. Is there a way to verify the 1.0.1.0 ADD ON file is installed? Not sure how to install it anyway. Microsoft Store>Downloads and Updates>Recent Activity. As shown in screen snap shot,
  9. Microsoft Flight simulator zendesk suggests, the time spent flying specific activities with these 2 planes, will unlock more airplanes to download. What? Does this mean I've got to log 50 Hours flying time to uncover more planes?
  10. Same issue here with W10 v2004 as with v20H2 W10 Home, v20H2, Installed 10/21/2020, OS Build 19042.572 16GB RAM, Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070, M.2 SSD 1.0
  11. Add. Screen shot of folders in the Install Packages Path Only the 2 planes appear to be installed.
  12. Step 6 above "Download and install the game packages". Downloaded sim using ethernet cable, download time reduced significantly from wifi connection Monitored the sim install packages path i.e.: C:\Users\name\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Official\OneStore Could not find selections for "Mandatory" or, remaining additional content". Nothing is shown in My Library Market Place is greyed out Content Manager has no option to download all The sim as downloaded is only 97Gb, I think it should be over 100Gb Only 2 planes shown in Content Manager Attached screen shots hopefully. Still trying to get a complete download.
  13. Lots of info here to help me along with installation. I'll give it a try. Thank you. Ron
  14. Sorry, the initial download, what am I looking for here? The Standard version? I guess I would need to see something visual to understand this step. Sorry for the confusion.
  15. Steve, where do you download the basic sim from, if not from the MS Store? I thought the sim was paid for and downloaded only from the MS Store? There's the Standard, Deluxe and Premium Deluxe Sims, so, I'm not sure what you mean by "basic sim". Ron
  16. Steve, now that's note worthy! To begin, I usually click on and install Microsoft Premium Deluxe Digital Edition from the Microsoft Store. Never thinking to install the basic sim first, then install digital ownership. The Launcher gets installed first, right? Worth a try! With my install procedure, all I get are 2 planes Cessna 152 and Daher TBM 930. Thanks much, Ron
  17. Uninstalled FS20 Premium Deluxe Digital, Windows10 update to v20H2, reinstalled FS20. Still, only 2 planes in Content Manager and Market Place is grayed out. Watched the install package path and noticed a lot of loop backs during download. Try direct ethernet connection to router next. I hope to be flying soon. Those that have a working sim, I wonder what your installed packages file looks like. I have 68 items. Would like to share an image of it. The file is located at something like: C:\Users\yournamehere\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Official\OneStore Thanks, Ron W10 Home, v20H2, Installed 10/21/2020, OS Build 19042.572 16GB RAM, Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070, M.2 SSD (1.0 TB)
  18. Selecting Content Manager gives me a choice of only 2 planes. https://i.postimg.cc/BQ1Gmt20/content-manager-2.jpg
  19. May have something to do with my Windows10 not up to date. Working on remedy. Thanks for the info. Ron
  20. Has anyone downloaded FS20 Premium Deluxe Digital Edition from the MS Store? I thought there were supposed to be 30 planes in the Premium Deluxe Edition. I must have missed a step during download because my Content Manager only shows 2 out of 30 planes (Cessna 152 and Daher TBM 930). How would I go about downloading the remaining 28 planes? Help greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ron
  21. In other words, cannot download FS20 First, let me say that I'm using a new PC and it operates great. I've downloaded and use other software applications without issues i.e, photoshop, astronomy and telescope controls, camera control and other electronic projects. This FS20 download has me stumped. I've been at this for 2 weeks trying fresh installs from MS Store, etc. Please note that the download for the 1GB launcher works fine, but the remaining 90-127 GB download is my gotcha moment. The download issue begins with the "fs-base-bigfiles-0.1.59 fspackage". The download progress bar advances to maybe 15% of the "bigfiles" then loops back to 0%. I've checked the zendesk about disabling something called "AutoTuningLeveL" but that doesn't solve my loop back problem. https://flightsimulator.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360016844080-Download-stuck-on-packages-Install-loop At this point, I'm having to rely on experience from others on how to remedy this bazaar download behavior. W10, v2004, OS Build 19041.508, 16GB RAM, 8-Core Processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070, M.2 SSD 1.0 TB.
  22. Downloading MSFS2020 on new PC from my MS Account. The download progress toggles between 0 and 2% for "fs-base-bigfiles-0.1.59 fspackage". This behavior has gone on for over 2 hours with no increase in the white progress bar length. Is this normal? I know I'm just at the beginning of a long download time but, the way this download progress is behaving worries me. Would appreciate experience from others. Thanks, Ron W10, OS Build 1904.508, 16GB RAM, 8-Core Processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070, M.2 SSD 1.0 TB. https://i.postimg.cc/90k0v7Sd/Capture1.jpg
  23. I've downloaded and installed MSFS deluxe to an old computer. Does the MS store maintain a product key in my name so that I can download/reinstall to a new PC without doing a new purchase? Ron
