FS2020 v1.21.13.0 One more float plane. Flew this FS2020 CubCrafters X Cub around New York harbor and landed here. Shoreline is very muddy. Click on image to enlarge

Thanks all for the comments. According to Google maps, Beluga Lake, Alaska has docks for seaplanes. All I could find in FS2020 is a shoreline in that area. See below. Click on photos to enlarge.

New Where did you fly today
inky160 replied to plainsman's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 General Discussion
Flew the Pilatus PC-6 VFR around Boston (KBOS) harbor. Water landing worked out pretty well. Nice plane! FS2020 v1.21.13.0 nVidia driver 496.49 GeForce RT2070 Super GeForce Photo Mode -
Thanks for comments. The pearlescent paint reflection at different angles on the Citation I find fascinating. Downloaded v 1.21.13.0 yesterday then flew the new Pilatus PC-6 around the Boston area, KBOS to KMVY Martha's Vineyard. I love the visual effects the PC-6 has both interior and exterior. Flight behavior works well for me. As usual, click on images to enlarge. My SSD drive C is near capacity. I would like to move and dedicate FS2020 from SSD Drive C to an external SSD Drive D. I assume the file path will need to change beginning with D rather C drive. Example: D:\Users\username\appdata\local\...etc Are there procedures on how to swap drives for FS2020? Thanks Ron M

Just arrived at KSJC San Jose and in a parked position at the gate. Jetways look to be disabled or disconnected from all other planes at each gate, see screen shot below. Are FS2020 jetways moveable? Click on image to enlarge. Ron M

Jan: Nice photo detail. The Grumman (HU16) was always a big favorite. Would like to see it return in FS2020 with all the cockpit, sound and water landing detail it had in FSX. Ron M

The ramp at Kristiansund Airport (ENKB), Norway had a party of AI planes as shown here. Thought I would drop in with my default Cessna Longitude. I added some extra texture to the photo to make the view more interesting. Called plastic wrap in photoshop. If the moderators feel that aircraft photos shouldn't be tampered with like this, I'll understand. Click on pic to enlarge. Ron M

Photoshop was used to feather or soften the edges of each photo. Clicking on images opens a slightly larger view. Thanks all for your comments. Ron M -

little navmap
inky160 replied to Ron136's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 General Discussion
Have you already loaded the scenery library from FS2020 into the Little Navmap Database"? Ref: LNM user guide chapter 43. https://www.littlenavmap.org/manuals/littlenavmap/release/2.6/littlenavmap_book_en_a4.pdf -

I use LNM all the time but not as a resizable, overlay on any of the Garmin panels. The moving map on the Garmin MFD provides a good zoom in and zoom out function. But, if I want more detail, I can toggle LNM to open or close as a full screen display. I have LNM pinned to the task bar as shown below. I would be interested to see how others use LNM as a pop up window.

MSFS 2020 APR tracking
inky160 replied to P Thompson's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 General Discussion
When I fly the TBM 930 with default Garmin G3000, the plane follows the LOC1 path with APR selected. AP light ON and remains activated. This is a screen shot of practice IFR flying around the Cape Town, S Africa airport (FACT). HTH RonM -

Take-off speed for the TBM 930?
inky160 replied to oneleg's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 General Discussion
The Garmin G3000 Pilots Guide explains Vspeed references for the TBM 930, see page 68 and 69. The airspeeds noted from the Guide seem to track pretty much the way I fly the default FS2020 TBM 930. HTH https://static.garmin.com/pumac/190-02046-02_a.pdf -
