  1. Hi Rick, No I am in no way disappointed or saying anything negative about this aircraft; its a top quality freeware model and functions perfectly. Just that this type of aircraft -with negative/neutral static stability- is not my preferred type to fly in. It is optimized for aerobatics while I prefer stable graceful models that are easy to trim and fly almost hands-off. This plane handles a lot like a Pitts or an Extra 300. This is not a fault, it was designed and conceived to do just that. I remember flying a Zlin Z526 (in real life) some time back and it handled in a similar way. That was what I meant to say. Best wishes. Khalid :pilot:
  2. Took this new baby -just downloaded from the file section- for a spin. From what I found in handling, she is very manoeuvrable and has very little positive static stability, which makes her optimal for aerobatics (not my type of flight model mount, but fighter jocks would love such a plane). I am quoting what the creator A.F, Scrub included in the way of a readme file: Click on images for a larger view FSX/P3Dv3,v4 Bücker Bü 133 Jungmeister The Bücker Bü 133 Jungmeister (Young master) was an advanced trainer of the Luftwaffe in the 1930s. It was a single-engine, single-seat biplane of wood and tubular steel construction and covered in fabric. Development The Bü 133 was a development of the Bücker Bü 131 Jungmann two-seat basic trainer. First flown in 1935 (by Luise Hoffmann, the first female works pilot in Germany), it was slightly smaller than the Bü 131. The prototype, D-EVEO, was powered by a 140 hp (104 kW) Hirth HM506 inverted, air-cooled inline-6 engine. The aircraft showed "astonishing agility" at its first public appearance, the 1936 International Aerobatic Championship at Rangsdorf, but the Bü 133A garnered no orders; only two Bü 133Bs, with 160 hp (119 kW) version of that same Hirth HM506 inline-6 engine, were built. The main production type was the 160 hp (119 kW) Siemens-Bramo Sh 14A radial powered Bü 133C, which had a distinctive cowling and a 13 cm (5.1 in)-shorter fuselage, and the same fine aerobatic performance as the Bü 133A. Fifty-two were manufactured under licence by Dornier for the Swiss Air Force (which kept it in service until 1968). A similar number were built for the Spanish Air Force by CASA, and were designated the CASA 1-133. Operational history CASA-built 1-133C Jungmeister at Blackpool (Squires Gate) Airport in 1957 The Bü 133C racked up numerous victories in international aerobatic competition, and by 1938 was the Luftwaffe's standard advanced trainer. At the Brussels meet that year, a three-man Luftwaffe team made a strong impression on Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring, who ordered a nine-man team be formed. It dazzled the crowds at the International Flying meet in Brussels the next year. The Jungmeister design remained competitive in international aerobatic competition into the 1960s. General characteristics Crew: one, pilot Length: 6.0 m (19 ft 8.25 in) Wingspan: 6.60 m (21 ft 7.75 in) Height: 2.20 m (7 ft 2.5 in) Wing area: 12.0 m² (129.17 ft²) Empty weight: 425 kg (937 lb) Max. takeoff weight: 585 kg (1,290 lb) Powerplant: 1 × Siemens-Halske Sh.14A-4 radial piston engine, 119 kW (160 hp) Performance Maximum speed: 220 km/h (137 mph) Cruise speed: 200km/h (124mph) Range: 500 km (311 mi) Service ceiling: 4,500 m (14,765 ft) Enjoy and best wishes. Khalid
  3. Love the lighting of this shot. Well done.
  4. Add it to the rent you pay every month -and for those in the UK- the TV license.
  5. Hahaha nice song by the sound of it. I have been to Bilbao (and San Sebastian) many times, including the time when I took a ferry from Southampton, sailed in inclement weather (a force 9 gale to be precise) for 48 hours (that's 12 additional hours of sail because we had to cut into the swell, so it was a zigzag). I was severely sea sick for the full duration and by the time we got there I was in such a state. Surprisingly I was able to drive my car out of the ship and continue with my journey, but had sea legs for the next two weeks. The beauty of that region is amazing. Their cider is also great. I have never flown my FSX aircraft over there, an oversight it seems.
  6. Nice repaint! good work. Regarding the AI aircraft ahead of you, I bet the FSX controller does not nag them to "exit the runway when able" like they nag us. Best wishes. Khalid
  7. Nice shots and lovely Bronco. I like the VC shot. I have Aerosoft OV-10 payware model and I love flying it. Best wishes. Khalid
  8. Lovely shots Bob. And the scenery of the Basque is very accurate, which one is it? Best wishes. khalid
  9. Nice ones. I especially like the Twotter, B-24 and B-17 with shark teeth, unusual.
  10. Lovely PC-6 Jan, shame Aerosoft cancelled their PC-6 project though. Where do you post this repaint? Best wishes. Khalid
  11. Rick: its a 150 actually with tail wheel. Gerarad: its not a trick, its long hours of practice, training, acquiring skills and proficiency. Yes, its tricky to fly a Cessna 150 with SCUBA gear on. The academy has very tough standards.
  12. Nice ship, so many rockets under the wings. Way to go Rick.
  13. Thank you! very useful, even 8 years after you posted it.
  14. I knew I'd do my instructor proud! managed to pull this through! how's that for a nifty: It's a cinch (like Chuck Yeager always said in his flight sim).
  15. Jan, your distinct style is there. The pictures are beautiful yet simple and clear. The right word to use is "neat." And I love that Beechcraft. The VC is awesome. Is this a freeware and if so, which one to download? Best wishes. Khalid
  16. Beautiful twin, David. That pod in the middle. is it a radome? I think its a night fighter because it is clad in black paint. But why would a night fighter carry free falling bombs?
  17. Yes makes perfect sense and goes along the lines of vice versa floatplane taking off land runway.
  18. Thank you Gérard I have been able to download your shipping AI routes through the link you provided. I must find a way to integrate it with my current shipping AI setup.
  19. Wow she's eye candy. I heard the P-51 referred to as the Cadillac of the skies. Great shots Rick. Best wishes. Khalid
  20. Shalom Aharon, Your posts are always amazingly realistic and detailed. Keep them rolling. Best wishes. Khalid
  21. Dear Jimmy I am a repaint hoarder I would love to have both repaints if possible. I have the King Air 350 is that the same model as the MC-12W? Thank you and best wishes.
