  1. Thank you for your kind words, its about $1.25 in today's rate.
  2. Well done David. I love the oval portholes of the 414. I have never been in one though. Great work. Khalid
  3. She's a beauty Rick. I would have been as restless as you are until the issue is resolved and you have her airworthy once more. Good on you!.
  4. Took out a formation of F-4Js (of No.74 "Tiger" Sqdn.) for a short trip between RAF Lossiemouth and RAF Leuchars (before the latter was converted into an army station, sadly). The ride was very scenic and the East coast of Scotland is beautiful as ever. BTW- This is a "bargainware" model, FCS F-4F Phantom Ultimate Edition, which I bought pre-owned from a Game shop in Glasgow for 99p! CLICK ON THE PICTURES FOR A LARGER VIEW Take off in tight formation, full reheat! Overflying a vessel in the North Sea A standard rate turn in formation Overhead Fife airport. Tight and close, a textbook formation. Some line-up! Over the Firth of Forth and the bridges. Landing at Leuchars Happily at dispersal. Hope you enjoy. Best wishes. Khalid
  5. Happens often in FSX Rick, you get artefacts and anomalies. I have what looks like a UFO formation hovering over Cumbernauld airport (EGPG) in Scotland. Because of ORBX or some (any odd) other add on I guess?
  6. I've never been to Ocean City but those shots are beautiful. Well done David.
  7. Nice pictures Bob and I agree the C208 is the ultimate evolution of the "traditional-Cessna" single engine, high strutted wing, fixed tricycle undercarriage configuration. Will not even attempt to guess the theme you're on about. Best wishes. Khalid
  8. Love the shot looking up at the tail unit as though you were about to board from the rear. Best wishes. Khalid
  9. Beautiful picture Rick. The liveries of 60s and 70s carrier-borne aircraft is so colourful and eye catching in general. You have chosen a beautiful sample, I may add. Best wishes. Khalid
  10. Nice set of shots. Is that repaint available for download? Best wishes. Khalid
  11. Yes true the same goes for here too, I am not a first class member so all I get is 49K per second. ;)
  12. Congrats, I don't know what I downloaded from Rikoooo the other day it was fast... :pilot:
  13. Jan: Thank you for your kind words. I think the installation is straightforward. The good thing about Rikoooo is that their download speed is fast. Gérard: Hardly harsh. Au contraire, this is one of the nicest places on earth and the people are so laid back, even in contrast with other Canary islanders. The local wine is really great, too. Thank you for your kind words. David: I would dream of retiring in this island and spend the rest of my days there. Its so soothingly calm and a wonderful place if you like stargazing, the whole place is tweaked for astronomy. It has the largest observatories in western Europe, on the rim of the volcano at Roque de los Muchachos, which sits on an elevation of almost 8,000 ft. The street lights are dimmed and cars are obliged by law to dim headlamps, no flight routes allowed above the island to prevent interference with astronomical observation. It has something called Astronomical tourism and you can Google that for La Palma if you wish to explore this niche form of tourism. Try looking at this Thank you for your compliments. Larry: Thank you for your kind words. Glad you liked. Best wishes to all of you gents. Khalid
  14. Sounds brilliant Marcus, from the hardware perspective you have introduced a second computer to the equation. That can be a life changing step. With FSX / FSX-SE, what method do you use to link both computers to serve the same simming session? Is it cockpit sharing via LAN? Best wishes, Khalid
  15. Thank you Rick for your kind words. If my memory still serves me right, this could be the download links, from Rikoooo: Part 1 (1.57GB) https://www.rikoooo.com/downloads/viewdownload/68/702 Part 2 (1GB) https://www.rikoooo.com/downloads/viewdownload/68/703 It is by a guy called Alberto Sanchez who hosted it online with a bunch of other related goodies including a certain (Iberia Pack) but I cannot find his site anymore. The original site where I downloaded from was in Spanish but that was almost five years ago. The Rikoooo Downloads should work. Best of luck. Khalid
  16. I agree with Zippy about the impropriety of calling FSX a game. I have the Carenado C208 and -of course- the stock C208 installed, I took some screenshots of the cockpits below, but they do not have the G1000. This is the cockpit of the C208 that comes packaged with FSX. This is the payware Carenado C208 cockpit. However, the newer Carenado C208B Grand Caravan EX HD Series for FSX | P3D has the G1000 so you should consider buying his add-on aircraft if the integrated flight instrument system is what you are after. Best wishes. Khalid
  17. Experiencing the same since the default FSX / FSX-SE real weather fetching went down early February 2019. People will suggest dozens of freeware / payware weather engines, which is brilliant, but not one of them matches -or even comes close to- the one-click convenience of the built in (FSX stock) weather option. Best wishes. Khalid
  18. I have FSX running with 2 cards connected via SLI. I use 3 monitors. My configuration is with my signature. I would start with two monitors and experiment my way up to 5 if I were you. Its a steep learning curve with lots of experimentations with various settings and drivers, and how to get the monitors and the various open windows to behave. It is so hardware / software dependent so there is no standard way for all, but you need to get your drivers updated for starters, do not overclock anything at this stage, start with the stable settings for both your motherboard and GPUs, until you have everything set up and happily working, then -if you need to- increase the multipliers little by little. Best of luck. Khalid
  19. Took out the Curtiss C-46 for a ride over the Island of la Palma in the Canaries, to test a recently loaded repaint. The scenery is also freeware that I downloaded years ago. I have spent a holiday there and the beauty of this place is difficult to describe. Hope you enjoy the pictures. After take off. Heading west over the volcano. Overflying the middle of the island that is called "the beautiful island" by the locals. NB the aircraft is the freeware Curtiss C-46 v2 for FSX. Original Aircraft by Libardo Guzman García, with assistance from Greg Pepper and Tom Gibson Best wishes. Khalid
  20. So nice to look at. Great shots, Darryl. Best wishes. Khalid
  21. Rick may I ask for the link to download this if it is a freeware? Thanks in advance, Khalid
  22. Nice screenshots Rick. A lovely Tigercat too. Best wishes. Khalid
  23. Awesome set of shots Jan, the scenery is nice and the model is immaculate. Best wishes. Khalid
  24. I like this. Beautiful pictures Gérard. Amazing that scenery is only 1.96 MB? does it work well with ORBX? Best wishes. Khalid
  25. Totally artistic. Well done Bob. What model is this cub? Best wishes. Khalid
