  1. I have been there already before. A very helpful and a simple handling site ... BTW, FS-Shipyard has been mentioned here some months ago: https://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/showthread.php?339605-FS-Shipyards&highlight=fs-shipyard Sorry, but I'm not aware of having a 'questionable' behaviour. Isn't the 'File Library' here a kind of sharing site too? At least I thought to reach here a flight sim community with the largest readership. Obvisouly it seems that I have been wrong. Anyway, thanks for your advice. Bernard
  2. As it's known, FS-Shipyards has closed its website, and thus made all download options impossible. Once again: what a pity! So does anyone still have the AI flightplans for Chesapeake Bay ship traffic in his system? That could help me in any case. Thanks for any advice. Bernard
  3. For test purposes I use the MAIW AH-64. I replaced the original 'NBAI_AH64_Apache_AI_ONLY' air file by the often used 'stemme_as_helicopter_1'. The aircraft does the same vertical take off. Therefore the air file has no impact on the behaviour. Which are the civilian helis you have modified? Bernard
  4. Meanwhile I modified the CFG file of Paul Brsdshaw's Sikorsky CH-34. I copied the CFG entries of one of MAIW helicopters. But I got any change of take off behaviour. Bernard
  5. Thanks for your interesting tip. I didn't thought about that. So I will give a try by modifying correspondingly the CFG files, what I had to do up to now anyway. Bernard
  6. As you said, these are military aircraft. I'm not aware of civilian helicopters doing vertical take offs. Besides using Heli2009, but that's an other story. Anyway, with separate runways with a length of maximum 300 ft. you might get a quite acceptable traffic behaviour. Bernard
  7. The purpose what just adding the Falcon 20 as static object and representing a mockup of the Dassault Mystère 20 in one of the factory buildings at Bordeaux Marignac. The building is part of "CalClassic Bordeaux Merignac 1961" scenery. Bernard
  8. Thanks for your tips and support. @Herr Kirschstein: your suggestion was perfect and did it. Many thanks. I'm just slightly obset that the author declared the aircraft useable as AI. He furthermore added specifically a flightplan to the package. Either it works, or it should be left. Bernard
  9. Nice u shots! I guess you were flying down the valley of the Leventina and finally landet on the lake of St. Moritz. The speciality there is rather a walnut pie. Bernard
  10. The SGAI Dassault Falcon 20 downloaded here (https://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/fslib.php?do=copyright&fid=191983) isn't shown in the aircraft library. It neither appears with the AI traffic included in the package. Did someone the same experience? Thanks for any advice. Bernard

    ENB Mod

BTW and just for fun, I tried some other SweetFX settings: comic style or Sepia old fashion picture looking like a scene of the 1930 movie "Hell Angels" These pictures haven't been reworked with a photo editor. Bernard

    ENB Mod

Mowgli, just to make things clear. I run both together, ENB and SweetFX. I have the feeling that ENB does stabilize scenery rendition, especially flickering effects. That's of course an absolute personal point of view. Bernard

    ENB Mod

Thar's right. But it also depends what SweetFX settings you choose. I like f.i. using a slight sepia touch with my vintage sim. Bernard

    Rebranding FS9

Perhaps it would slightly make more sense to think about how keeping FS9 attractive and bringing it out of the current lethargy. In any case this will not be possible by just renaming it. Bernard
  15. Important to point out that both patches should be installed BEFORE running FS9 the first time. Otherwise they will be of no use.
  16. There are some particular reasons why Tom Gibson uploaded those files. Eventually you should folllow CalClassic Forum from time to time and especially this thread: https://calclassic.proboards.com/thread/10747/calclassic-site-status Bernard
  17. So why one of the administrators doesn't reply and explain the reasons????????? Ooh, I forgot, it's Sunday .....
  18. Nice shot of La Ferté-Alais, for those which didn't recognized it. Bernard
  19. Should eventually be checked before ... Bernard
  20. Glad to see that things already have changed there! Bernard
  21. Bad news, but I can understand it well. Turn it any way you want, interest in FS9 is steadily declining and becoming a fringe like its predecessors. This has already been treated umpteen times. In any case, you've deservedly been mentioned as "remberering pioneers". You can be proud of that. Unfortunately, those citations still as a kind of "swan song" of FS9... So who will be the last of the Mohicans? Thanks for all and Good Luck, Roger. Bernard
  22. I didn't went head, but it seems still to be available. Bernard
  23. With Instant Scenery and its WYSIWYG interface it's quite easy to install and exclude objects, especially Coors Field, as it's a default object. Bernard
  24. Because such things wouldn't be possible with any other sim. Bernard
  25. You're absolutely right. Let vehicles driving as AI need flattened terrains. In some way that also is the case for ships. Water surfaces might be flat in coastal areas, but as more you will go away, the sea could be quite wavy. I did this experience along Long Island coast. Bernard
