Thanks David. Maybe now that the 737-900 is out PMDG will get back to the 747.

A great livery JK. Will be using this for some Laotian missions!

Here are some randoms of a brand new Vision Jet SF G2 on a pre-delivery test flight from the Cirrus Maintenance, Training, and Delivery center at McGhee Tyson Airport (KTYS) in Knoxville, Tennessee. The airplane encounters today's RW weather northeast of Knoxville while climbing to the service ceiling of 31,000 feet.
In a shiny new, snazzy paint scheme on the Cirrus ramp.
Going thru the Before Start and Start checklists on the MFD. The right split-screen chart shows our position at the airport. Our custom leather seats in the cockpit have that "new car" smell.
Taxiing outInitial climb out
Going up to the service ceiling of 31,000 we hit solid IMC. The MFD split screen shows the NEXRAD weather overlay on the map display on the left and our onboard weather radar on the right. The yellow on the NEXRAD indicates a wide area of moderate precip along our flight path. Our radar is not showing anything directly ahead in our climb.
Passing FL250 the question at this point is are we going to make it above this stuff at 310? We can't go any higher.
Just leveling off at FL310 it looks like we're going to be just in the tops. What the shots don't show is the turbulence. The airplane was bouncing around all over the sky. Maybe we should have picked a better day?!

Here are some randoms of a Hawaiian Airlines MD-80 on the short inter-island flight from Honolulu International (PHNL) on Oahu down to Hilo (PHTO) on the Big Island. With a low-pressure area nearby it's not the usual sunny Hawaiian day.
Ready for takeoff on Runway 8L. USAF C-5s and KC-135s are visible in the background on the ramp at adjoining Hickam AB.
Climbing out over the office buildings and hotels in downtown Honolulu and along Waikiki Beach. Diamond Head is visible in the second shot. Don't tell John Kerry and Al Gore about those nasty brown exhaust trails.
About to level off for the short cruise segment.
On final to Hilo. For extra credit: What's wrong with these pictures?

Nice shots of a very rare airplane. Have a San Magoo for me!

One of my all-time favorite aircraft and liveries! Great ones Aharon.

Phrog, Larry, & Rick - many thanks for looking and the kind words.

Here are some random shots of a B747-8F demonstrator on an early morning flight from Paine Field (KPAE) in Everett, Washington to Denver International (KDEN) in Colorado. Boeing delivered its last 747 - which was a 747-8F - to Atlas Air on January 31, 2023, ending the reign of "the Queen" and a historic era in aviation history.
Climbing into the rising sun over eastern Washington.
Dueling contrails as we pass westbound traffic off the right wing.
Leaving the scattered cloud layer below we move into clear skies for the rest of the flight.
On the ILS to KDEN runway 26 over the snow-covered ground with Pikes Peak visible in the far distance off the left wing above the #1 engine.
After landing and exiting the runway the pink arrowhead on our airport chart on the MFD shows our position on the taxiway and the shot shows our long taxi to the cargo ramp.

A great shot Rick. The 747 is a "must-have" in my fleet too.

A-6 Intruder, RTB after deploying mines in Haiphong harbor, 1972. Layered picture highlighting of the A-6 as it fly's at 100 ft. over the harbor.
Great recreation of a historic mission. The original plan was to use P3s. Fortunately, that got changed!

Here are some random shots showing detail of the Garmin 3000 Perspective Touch PFD and MFD in a Cirrus Vision Jet SF50 G2 on approach to Boston (KBOS)
The aircraft has two 14-inch primary flight data displays with three touch screen control panels beneath. The left control panel is for the PFD, the center for the MFD, and the right is for comm.
The white triangles on the TCAS map insert in the lower left corner of the PFD shows traffic around the airport which is at our 4 o'clock position as we begin the approach.
The split screen display feature on the MFD is a very handy capability. In place of the nav map currently being displayed we could call up the approach and landing checklists to go with the approach plate. In the RW aircraft the PFD can also be split screen. So, checklists or the approach plate could also go there. This is not (currently) implemented in the MSFS Vision Jet G3000.
Turning inbound to line up on the final approach course.

Couple of nice ones Bill. You sure are logging some time on the Vision Jet.
Thanks Larry. Yep, it's kind of become my "go to" plane now. One of the most realistic airplanes I've seen released for FS and really fun to fly. I can see why there's a 7 year RW wait list to buy one even if you've got the $4M it costs!

Finland is beautiful country! Great shots.

Thanks Phrog. An interesting question. The short answer is "I don't know."
The G3000 Vision Jet in MSFS is TA Only. Doesn't generate any RAs. Does generate a flashing yellow "Traffic" alert on the PFD for targets of potential concern but I dont know what the criteria is other than "pretty close." I've only seen one a couple of times and that was landing with an AI aircraft holding short for the runway or on an adjacent taxiway.
