  1. Do those ram sticks have a picture of President Lincoln on the side of them? Yes, if your motherboard supports it go with 32gig of 3200 ram at least.
  2. I9-10900k, 2x 2080TI - Nvlink (yes it works) 64gb ddr 4 3200mhz, 2TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD internet - 300+ mbs / Honycomb Alpha yoke Alienware monitor 34 inch @ 3440 x 1440
  3. No issues here..none. No stuttering. Your mileage may vary.
  4. I’m using the mouse, but did you use the panel to assign the off, or the right panel where you do the bindings. I think the right side panel is for.”off” and the left panel for the “on” setting. I did the atc like that.
  5. Where to begin. Day one and I flew from home airport, cruised along the coast of Chicago and felt as if this was a great order of magnitude more immersive than FSX ever was. Yes, sounds bleak.
  6. I was at around 1:30 minutes, including some f’ing around because it stalled at the tbm screen with the blue bar. 300 + MB’s here. It only downloads as much as it needs at a time, so anything above 200 MB’s was likely overkill. I’m running a i9-10900k and n.2 nvme drives so that helps unpack a lot too.
  7. They are apparently called “grievers’ little things like flying into airplanes, blocking access to terminal gates..yea..I will be turning multi-player off first thing.
  8. While I will choose to fly as prototypically as I am able, I welcome the thought of all sorts of people buying this sim. It will fund the types of improvements that I hope MS will be making to it for hopefully many years to come. Some of the buyers will develop the same passion for flight that I had when I started sim flying back in 1984 with the very first sim that they released.
  9. He was having his co-pilot do his check lists for him. It had something to do with waiting to do something before he entered the runway a\Nd he didn’t do it, so it didn’t get checked off the list. It left that ugly marker on his screen.
  10. You can use Control and + on browsers like chrome to increase the size.
  11. My apologies to all. I have the new sim on the brain obviously! I’m leaving fsx on the computer for now, until I need to reclaim the space. The new system is coming in today.
  12. 1. Download Flight Simulator to its default location. It is not a very big file.. some 200 MB. 2. Go to Windows Settings / Apps and find the Flight Simulator "app" 3. Click on it and select Move 4. Point to your SSD and execute. The App will be moved to its new location.
  13. Lol love it my friend.. enjoy the launch. This is a long term deal.
  14. I expected to see Roo’s bounding about..not even one..I’m canceling.
  15. The Deluxe version has a Cessna 172 Skyhawk, not the glass cockpit version, according to their published plane list. I think you can eve what you are looking for at the 3:00 minute mark here:
  16. I didn’t notice at first, but you have a keen eye, the runway was not flat.
  17. Wow! All I can say is wow! Imagine this product a year or so hence after we get some third party stuff to play with as well.
  18. Ditto..until they start displaying IP addresses here this is going to continue..
  19. It sounds like this tirade is going beyond spamming and into harassment of members, which I hope the Mods will address. There is no VR support of this game and I would suggest, humbly, that the posts be moved to that hardware forum at the bottom of the forum list. Ghosttown and his other screen names can jabber to each other in there at will while keeping this forum on topic.
