You may have read recently that MSFS celebrated ten million copies used. Assuming only a quarter of them paid full price, that is one hundred and fifty million dollars in sales.

 

For this kind of money, I think we could expect more.

Yes, the world is not a perfect place. 99.9% of users don't have this happen, but a few others have had it happen.

I have the same question and am in the same boat per say. I have 13 monitors for my home sim and I currently use XP12 for training etc., I would like to do the same with MSFS20. Please let me know if there is a way to do it w/o having to buy a copy for each machine. I have 5 units.

This was the main reason I switched to XP for training and all my pereferials are easily plug and play. So far I have MSFS on one machine and it is not so friendly… :frowning:

Install MSFS on each unit. Then use MSFS on one unit at a time.

in your FSX.cfg file

Upgrading Windows should not have changed anything.

Did you do a clean uninstall of MSFS?

Don't believe everything you read on the internet! MSFS runs and updates just fine for most people, especially when they learn that most of their settings are saved on the cloud available to MSFS.

Set up the flight you want as default.

Go and save your flight. Check the box that says Make Default Flight, before saving.

To have the taxi line show up, DX10 Preview must be Off unless you are using a DX Fixer.

Then to turn PT on or off you use the ATC screen.

Why did MSFS go this route? What happened to the more simple way, you either download or disk install, it finished, you enetered the code, it then played, job done.Col.

MSFS is no different than FSX in this regard.
