    All, It's a single .exe file. OP, you can just delete the jumpstart file from your desktop. Then follow the other advice to start MSFS.

    You really don't need add-ons right away. The default MSFS is pretty darn good right out of the box. Spend time with that first.

    I would go to Device Manager in Windows and under Display adapters, see what is active. The latest update did not change the hardware requirements for MSFS.

    PMDG locks their aircraft down pretty tight, so not going to happen.

    So are you asking about backup software or software to move folders and files? Two different things.

    1. FSX runs just fine on Windows 11. 2. You can call the automated activation number and it will ask you to enter a new license code into your FSX.

    I'm sure you can, but there are only 3 official retailers of MSFS: the MS Store, Steam and Aerosoft. Purchase anywhere else and you are at risk for things like a one time use license.

    Ok, there is only one place that sells the legitimate disk version and it's not eBay. Hope the second time you purchased from MS, Steam, or Aerosoft. Then you will never have to purchase again, even for multiple computers.

    1. Saving a flight does not save every single detail of the flight. It's always been this way and has nothing to do with your OS. 2. Anything you don't want or need in MSFS can be removed. Therefore it's no more "bloatware" then your FSX install was.

    1. Use Alt + Tab to switch between programs. Yes, FS will remain in Full Screen Mode. 2. Use a second monitor. 3. Look it up on your phone.
