    Is MSFS live traffic turned off? I use FSLTL also and do not get white planes. You have one or more setting not quite right.

    Mark, All because I showed that default MSFS has 108 or more hand crafted airports and FS04 has some. I want to compare default to default, but nobody else wants to.

    Good job. Your Amazon link pulls up CDs from 2015, 1999, and 2018. Find me a 2023 Taylor Swift CD. I've never had a Windows Update take an hour, 10 minutes at most. "Ah, give people fire and they will still live in a cold, dark house."

    Because Roger thinks that default FS9 has more airports and airfields with buildings that are realistic replicas of real life than in any other flight sim. I would say he is mis-informed.

    It's called the digital age for a reason. Try to find a new music release on a CD. Try and buy a main stream computer with a cd/dvd player installed as a default item. Your wants are long gone and a minority. People today want streaming and downloads and that's what manufacturers are doing. I sure as heck don't want to drive to my local Best Buy, purchase a 10 dvd boxed program, drive home, start loading dvds, hope none of them are damaged, hope files are not corrupt, and hope that FS starts. And reinstalls? Forget that. One click of a button, walk away and come back in 30 minutes, a brand new FS, patched to the latest version, all set to use.

    I have the same joystick for FS and do not experience delays, but then again I don't hold down my assigned Trim buttons, I just click to get my trim. Even multiple clicks do not get delayed.

    FSX has always worked with Win 11 and no hoops to jump through.

    FSUIPC runs hidden in FS2020 no matter what. Why don't you just set up the controller right inside FS? No special programs needed for that.

    Well in the newest sims you wouldn't be able to do many of the things you enjoy. And you need a modern OS and computer, no legacy stuff.
