Hi, 1. There is NO REASON to create anything ahead of time. FSX will create what it needs to create. 2. There is NO REASON that the name has to be "Microsoft............anything". 3. Try this: install to C:\FSX and be all done!

Re-install FSX out of the Program Files (x86) folder. Re-install FSUIPC.

Uninstall and reinstall your graphics card driver.

The fact remains that it is recognized like any other joystick. You don't need any Xlibraries. Are you really sure you don't make this stuff up?

Hi, You've been away too long!! You can hook up an XBox controller to your computer USB port and it works with FSX, and next with Flight. So, you are just confused!!!
