  1. It's not that hard to find it in the Event Log even with ALL the other Windows logging.
  2. The Windows Event Log will show you everything you need to know. There are no log files in MSFS itself.
  3. What if he has the digital version from MS? What if he has the Steam version? He doesn't want to know what disk it's on, he wants to know where it is on his COMPUTER.
  4. We aren't talking about FSX here. We are talking about MSFS. Also, the stuff you posted above is totally wrong.
  5. Then you would hear that all it is, is an upgrade to FSX, and not a new program. We've been upgrading for years now so it was time for a fresh start.
  6. On your Start Menu in Windows, under the "M" you have the icon to start the program.
  7. Wouldn't run with my GT740 so I don't think it's going to run with your GT730. Time for a new video card.
  8. Yes there are. Anything you can interact with on the main screen can be done on the second monitor.
  9. Now pull up Bing Maps and see if the color is the same.
  10. The patch works great, especially if you read AND follow the release notes. Took about 4 minutes for me.
  11. It is doing that because you need to update with the first patch. It opens the Store window and downloads a part of the patch, then you start MSFS and the rest will be installed.
  12. You have to use the Add Area button and then use the browser window to point to the scenery. Then follow the above advice.
