BillD22
Some musty, dust covered files from my FSX photo archives.
PhrogPhlyer
Blasts from the past. Love '70s - '80s props and jets still had their place in the balance of power. Great overflights of NAS North Island. And the "Bear Box" mid pacific, always great for pics from the deck. Always Aviate, then Navigate, then Communicate. And never be low on Fuel, Altitude, Airspeed, or Ideas. Laptop, Intel Core i7 CPU 1.80GHz 2.30 GHz, 8GB RAM, 64-bit, NVIDIA GeoForce MX 130, Extra large coffee-black. Thanks Phrog - hoping some of these guys will show up in FS2020. Had to clear off FSX to make disc space for it.
Downwind66
They won't stay musty and dusty for long! RICK
mrzippy
Nice pics, Bill! Was the Phantom escorting a Soviet Bear bomber? I remember several flyovers of Bear Bombers being escorted by Saratoga's Phantoms Med. Cruise '69. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer! Bears were still quite active mid '80s cruses too. Biil, do you kno the name of the file for that Oriskany model? Great for any Korea or Nan missions, Always Aviate, then Navigate, then Communicate. Great for any Korea or Nan missions, Couldn't find the Oriskany file but simMarket has a payware FSX/P3D 3 Essex class carrier package (Bonny Dick, Hancock, and Lexington) for 10 Euros. simMarket: ESSEX-CLASS AIRCRAFT CARRIER FSX P3D

Yes - but in today's world the F4 being tucked in so close to the Bear would probably be considered unsafe and unprofessional,
Rupert
Sweet shots! Those FSX planes are great! I never got the chance to even sit in an F-8. But I always thought it was the best looking bird I ever saw in USMC livery. Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.
