FS2004 Hypersonic Wonder Woman Upgrade. This example is presented as the "invisible airplane" for a new concept series of the "Wonder Woman" DC comics. The "Concord nose" controls extend and retract the wings. The "gear" is a invisible energy field, but operates with the same controls / limitations. Stall at about 100 knots. If it looks similar to the Aurora, or the Roswell craft except bigger, well, form equals function. This configuration (with the wings folded in) is for use in the hypersonic envelope. The heat is removed from the leading edges by a very high voltage skin attraction electron depletion plasma, generated but the twin turbine / PDE systems in the main body of the craft. FS2004 Performance Stealth

FS2004 Performance Stealth. Military aircraft: Stealth Tactical Attack Raptor (S.T.A.R.). This is a well mannered, fast to target, slow flight (for targeting), tactical support system. Designed for transport of 10K lbs. in ordinance, w/1K in ammo, this STOL is much simpler to fly than the A8, or the F18, for better result in a wider range of operations. For carrier based ops it may not even require a tail hook. The stealth will also deter radar lock on in tactical conditions, with enough afterburner power to escape from a Stinger at the correct altitude. Since the nose tilts down for slow flight observation, observation is best at 55 KNTS/full power/full flaps, and targeting is better with 20 degrees. Flaps/spoiler/full-3/4 power /80 knots. One can take off with full (edc powered) flaps, but the 20 deg setting is probably better here as well. Settle rate is about 5 fpm at 55 knots, to allow landing on about any highway available. The egress system is not shown in the animation, but will be able to "fly" to a safe point and survive hypersonic to arctic conditions for pilot, and logs. By Kevin Espeseth.

FS2004 S.T.A.R. Flight Test Prototype

FS2004 S.T.A.R. Flight Test Prototype A \"shooting star\" for the 4th of July! This aircraft is the flight test prototype for the militarized version being presented in a couple of days. The concept of forward sweep wing has a number of advantages in flight, including better maneuverability, stealth, and stability in slow flight. The double wing format provides reduced \"wobble\" on the wingtips, allows the wing thickness to be minimized, and creates an effective 4\' thick wing for slow STOL flight (especially when power is applied with flaps and spoiler deployed). 25 knts @ 2 fpm descent! The flight characteristics are approximated, but they are fairly close to the real world craft. Yes, the elevators conflict with the rudder, but that would be corrected with a simple notch in the rudders. This craft is significantly better in performance in all areas than craft presented before, but requires a bit more advanced ability in its construction. This configuration has two 50 HP prop/ducted fan engines, but it is light enough for small jet / PDE. If you increase the HP (in the cfg file) remember to increase the empty weight as well. I would expect the plane to remain flight stable to 400 knots. By Kevin Espeseth.

FS2004/FSX A-I-R Atos VR. The Atos VR is the all out highest performer of a series of rigid wing hang gliders manufactured by Aeronautic Innovation Ruhle (A-I-R). Built for the serious XC and/or competition pilot it is a 13.3:1 aspect ratio super ship with a 45 foot wingspan that is as easy to foot launch as any flex wing, but with a performance that is in a different league. This model made with Gmax has aircraft animations and an all singing and dancing pilot that runs during landing and take-off, transfers his position to prone and weight shifts to control the glider . The concept is to be able to have an inflatable blimp that you can carry in a trailer, inflate at the site, and use change in altitude to control the lateral direction (like a whale). FS2004 Plane Jane. This 360 degree clear enclosed cockpit, very long range, low cost, low operating cost, twin, is primarily designed as a search and rescue for smaller communities (presumably to be used with the emergency LED/helium balloon device carried in all remote operations craft / ATVs). However, the extended op range / fuel-cargo load and semi-stealth configuration can make this quiet, stable, low cost, platform effective in many other areas as well, from crop dusting, to remote RV ops. With the deflection screen engine covers, there is even a small amount of stealth that can be engineered into the aircraft. Everything works on this one, from spoilers to fuel selection. The drop tanks don't register on the level gauge, but it will switch to that tank. Same for the both setting. The VR cockpit also shows the seat of bungee cord with the clear lower section, so enjoy the view. By Kevin Espeseth.

FS2004 Bass Boat. A fun little adaptation of the Flight Box. This is a mimic, set pitch 1/2 low, watch the top end speed, and it still freezes on high speed turns, changing to "spot" display, and under some bridges wings. It does, however, mimic a fish finder sonar on the adaptable laptop display. In case you can't finish the aircraft (for whatever reason; money, time, moxie) This system will give you an idea of how adaptable the Flight Box is to other machinery. With very few add ons, it can also become a rigid wall hovercraft (among other things). The flaps operate the trolling motor, and ailerons work the front seat. By Kevin Espeseth.
