The abandoned "old" runway is now a taxiway. You may start on the runway or the taxiway. There are over 1000 trees and a lighted road. Road goes Duxford to Fowlmere to Bassingbourn. First of a two part set. This airfield sits perched atop rolling hills. It has lights and hangars with moving doors. There are aircraft inside the hangars. Manston has refueling and over 500 trees.     CFS2 scenery--GZR Cherbourg v1.0. This is another GZR_Built airfield. It sits on the Cherbourg Peninsula. Southern England is about 60 miles north. German fighters based here defended southern France. Early Allied targets were Nantes and Brest. The hangars are set back from the runway. Cherbourg has night lights, fuel and trees.
