   CFS Mission--A Bridge Too Far - Mosquitoes Over Willems Barracks. In preparation for Operation Market Garden many bombing sorties were flown against targets throughout the corridor. A general saturation bombing in the areas of Wolfheze, Oosterbeck, Nijmegen and Eindhoven by the mediums and heavies began around 0800 and lasted for three hours. In contrast your target is a very specific one, the Willems Barracks Complex just to the west of Arnhem. Because of the massive retreat of the Wehrmacht through Arnhem in the past two weeks there is a good probability that the barracks are occupied. The target is very close to civilian homes so they've called low level precision bombing capability of the Mossie's to flatten it. These missions (fictitious of course) are set in the summer of 1950 on the English Channel.
