FSX RB 05 Missile for Captain Sim 'Weapons for FSX'
FSX RB 05 Missile for Captain Sim 'Weapons for FSX'. This is a model of the RB 05 Air to ground missile. The missile is a fly by wire type used and developed by the Swedish Air force. It has a large flare on the rear of the missile for guidance by the pilot after release. This guidance cannot be replicated in FSX but the missile will launch and have the flare showing after lock on has been achieved. The model was produced following a visit to the excellent Swedish missile museum in Arboga. Many thanks to the museum staff for showing me around. FSX/P3D v3 Dornier Wal Updated With New Panels. The Dornier Do J Wal ("whale") was a twin-engine German flying boat of the 1920s designed by Dornier Flugzeugwerke In the military version (Militarwal in German), a crew of two to four rode in an open cockpit near the nose of the hull. Several countries, notably Italy, Norway, Portugal, Uruguay and Germany, employed the Wal for military tasks. The civil version had a cabin in the nose, offering space for up to 12 passengers, while the open cockpit was moved further aft. Main users of this version were Germany, Italy, Brazil and Colombia. The Norwegian polar explorer Roald Amundsen used two Dornier seaplanes in his unsuccessful attempt to reach the North Pole in 1925. His two aircraft, N-24 and N-25, landed at 87° 44' north. It was the northernmost latitude reached by any aircraft up to that time. This is an FSX update for the FS2002 model of the Wal, posted by the "Freeware Project Dornier Whale" in 2003. It features three closed cabin models and one open cabin model in four different liveries. The focus of this update lies on completely reworked VCs and new 2D panels, giving the cockpits a much more realistic appearence. Included are three different panels (two for the closed cabin model and one for the open cabin) with now all German authentic gauges of the 1920s. FSX Update For The Fairchild F-91 With New Panels. The Fairchild 91 was a single-engine eight-passenger flying boat airliner developed in the United States in the mid-1930s. Fairchild designed the aircraft in response to a Pan American Airways request for a small flying boat to operate on their river routes along the Amazon and Yangtze. The result was a conventional high-wing cantilever monoplane with its radial engine mounted above the wing in a streamlined nacelle. The red "Kono" belonged to explorer Richard Archbold. This an FSX update of the F91 by Chris Herring. The package features entirely revised panels and includes the three default and three new liveries by Mick Morissey. Smoke and additional camera views (cabin and co-pilot) added. FDE optimized for FSX. All credits go to Chris Herring for the original model and to Mick Morissey for the three addidtional textures. FSX French 18th Century Frigate L'Hermione. The French Frigate L'Hermione in a pilotable and in an AI version. Marquis de La Fayette returned 1780 back to Boston to support the American colonists during the Independence War. With an overall length of 65 meters she was a quite big and fast warship, equipped with twenty six 12-pounder guns and some more 6 and 8 pounders. While the original was built in just eleven month the replica, laid down in 1997, was completed after seventeen years. Today she is one of the biggest wooden ships. My models represents the original one. The sim-model is almost complete rigged with hundreds of ropes and has many animated guns, six animated stunsails and six animated crewmen. Twenty-four cameras let you explore the whole ship: The deck, the lower gun deck and the sailors views from high above in the masts. The effects allows you to fire broadsides to starboard and port separately. The model runs in Acceleration and in FS2004 and I guess also in P3D until version V3. FSDS 3.5 model made by Erwin Welker.
