FSX Connecticut Scenery v2
FSX Connecticut Scenery v2, CT, USA. Airports are KBDL (Bradley International Airport) and KHVN (Tweed-New Haven Airport). These airports receive commercial airline traffic. Here is the long awaited and long time making updated ADE files for Connecticut. I took the time to get the approaches, as well as other scenery, as close to what I found on google maps and AIRNAV.COM. A lot of the transitions are not in the FSX database and will not show with ATC options. I have included all the scenery files needed to compleate this scenery. KSQL features a 5000 x 75 foot lighted asphalt runway with a two box VASI left side each end. The airport has a lighted wind indicator in a segmented circle and a sunset to sunrise land airport beacon. The airport is home to 323 aircraft - 287 single engine, 23 multi, 4 jet and 9 helicopters. This version came about as an attempt to provide a more accurate version of the airport and the surrounding area using the stock FSX scenery with no add-ons. The project uses all freely available libraries and is an approximate representation of the airport. I would like to thank the creator of the file for the Rutan LongEZE, Olivier Marechal, which is sitting on the roof of the Hiller Museum. I tried to contact him but was unable to. This airport file updates what was CTAF to tower and ground frequencies. The airport now has the first ever virtual control tower in the U.S.. I forgot to mention in the first file that there are three helipads in this file. Also, taxi signs have been placed with taxiway designators. I have removed eight small GA parking spots as I thought they were crowding out the others. NOw there are a total of 19 small GA parking spots. This file is Public Domain. FSX British Columbia Airfields For Default Scenery, Canada. These sceneries are for the FSX default scenery, i.e. a scenery that does not have enhancements like Ultimate Terrain or ORBX which correct or add e.g. lakes, towns etc. However, I do use additional freeware mesh sceneries, which are the "FSX Canada 19M Terrain Mesh" parts 1 and 2 by Raimundo Taburet (LOD 11) and the North America/Canada mesh from "FreeMesh X Global 1.0" (LOD 10). But in principle my sceneries should work with any mesh. The package adds or enhances 13 further airflelds/seaplane bases and surrounding scenery, updates two airfields previously uploaded and adds one arifield omitted in my previous upload (MISC_BC_AIRFIELDS_2.ZIP). FSX Scenery And Airport Abu Nakhalh Qatar. Al Udeid Air Base is a military base southwest of Doha, Qatar, also known as Abu Nakhlah Airport. It houses Qatar Air Force, United States Air Force, Royal Air Force, and other Gulf War Coalition personnel and assets. It is host to a forward headquarters of United States Central Command, headquarters of United States Air Forces Central Command, No. 83 Expeditionary Air Group RAF, and the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing of the USAF. In 1999, the then Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad, told U.S. officials that he would like to see as many as 10,000 U.S. servicemen permanently stationed at Al Udeid.
