Thomasville Regional Airport (KTVI) is located in southwest Georgia (GA), USA and is a publicly owned, public use facility established in April, 1943. KTVI features a 6004 x 101 ft lighted asphalt runway with a 2-light PAPI left side both ends plus a MALSF 1400 ft medium intensity approach lighting system. Also a 4999 x 100 ft lighted asphalt runway in a cross pattern. The airport has a lighted wind indicator and a sunset to sunrise land airport beacon. The airport is home to 57 aircraft - 40 single engine, 6 multi, 8 jet and 3 gliders. This version came about as an attempt to provide a more accurate version of the airport and the surrounding area using the stock FSX scenery with no add-ons. FSX/FSX-SE Scenery--Lake Placid Tower Complex. The Lake Placid Tower Complex is located in south central Florida (FL), USA in the city of Lake Placid and was conceived as a "Observation Tower" similar to the Citrus Tower located in Clermont, FL. The tower was completed and opened in January, 1961. It was operated semi-succesfully until finally closed in 2003. This project was done as a point of interest and a navigation landmark. Departing Sebring Regional Airport (KSEF) on a 184 heading for about 10 miles will bring you over the tower. If interested, my version of The Citrus Tower Complex is available as CITRUS_TOWER_COMPLEX_FL.ZIP. This version came about as an attempt to provide a more accurate version of the tower and the surrounding area using the stock FSX scenery with no add-ons. This version updates several items, the main ones being automated jetways and a refuelling capability. Rwy12 and EZ Scenery libraries are needed as well as VFR Letters SS from fs2004. If required, there are AI aircraft files (aircraft care of the Philippine Flight Simmers Group, the United Traffic Team and Mike Pearson). FSX Scenery--VTSP-Phuket. Now it starts as always, I can't find a usable freeware airport in this case for the VTSP - Phuket Thailand so I'll build it myself again. Now what can I say after a lot of work it is built as real as possible with many details with the standard scenery. So fly to Phuket. But for the cheap at heart (like me), here is a freeware offering with custom made modern terminal, funky tower, added free-standing gates to handle the AI traffic (artistic license invoked), and more. Transparent windows for interior decorating. My usual libraries required. Also highly recommended is Jean-Marie Guieau's St Martin photoscenery upon which I built this, so buildings, runways, etc. line up (see readme). See disclaimer also in readme.
