Climbing out from MDSD Las Americas, Santo Domingo, Dominicana's hub airport: Reaching cruise altitude of FL240 in no time and approaching the Club Med resort of Playa Esmeralda with Laguna Redonda visible on the screen: Leaving the curved beach of Playa Esmeralda and Laguna Redonda: Across the sea to neighbouring San Juan with TJBQ Rafael Hernandez airport just below us: Halfway across San Juan we run into some suspiciously British weather: Leaving San Juan and through the clouds we can just see the British Virgin Islands... Ah, that explains the weather! Down through the clouds and onto the RNAV approach for Rwy 10 at TNCM Princess Juliana airport: Too busy to take the obligatory landing shot from the beach (OK, I didn't think to press Pause at the time!) here we are safely parked at TNCM: Tim Wright "The older I get, the better I was..."
