    Default RTW Retro Flight #119 London to Brussels . . . . 1961

    Malév flight MA348 is an Ilyushin IL-18D on the first leg of a flight from London Heathrow to Budapest via Brussels Zaventem (EGLL - EBBR). We have 1,200 gallons of fuel on board for the 190 nm flight. We will have moderate cloud cover for the entire flight. Our cruising altitude will be 8,000 feet.

    11. We are over West Flanders with the municipality of Torhout off the right wing.

    12. Thirty nm from Brussels over East Flanders the city of Ghent is off our left wing partially obscured by clouds. We see the Scheldt River just ahead and above the aircraft’s nose.

    Nice flight again Larry! Your fleet of the older prop liners are really fantastic and you do show them off "so well!"

    Thanks David & Rick. Some of the flights take a lot of research to find all the right elements, but it's fun to do.
