It is available now!! https://www.farming-simulator.com/

Microsoft stopped making Flight simulators many years ago.

I don't want to go off topic here, but I have one question. As an old farm kid, I'm wondering what parts of the world does this sim cover?

Send me a pm if you care to. I might have to check this one out further.

Thanks,

Darrell

It does not cover any part of the real world. All maps are created either by the developer of the game or 3rd party free addons.

However, there is always Prepar3d to go for

I don't understand this. At the bottom of the page at http://prepar3d.com/product-overview/prepar3d-license-comparison/ it makes it very clear than no versions of Prepar3D listed there are for "Personal Consumer Entertainment" so where do you get a consumer version from?

That's fundamentally it - you have to lie, thereby getting NO guarantee, NO customer support and NO refund. No Thanks! Besides which, it seems to be a military training aid with none of the civilian frills which FSX has. P3D isn't based on FSX Acceleration for a start, so none of your FSX add-on airport navaids will work properly in P3D, and even if you only use payware FMC navdata, your add-on AI traffic will have serious problems... The other contender is X-Plane11, and the Demo is very impressive indeed. However there are still no seasons, no MSFS compatibility, and you'd need a powerful modern rig with TrackIR or similar to run it properly.

You Lie!;)

I beg your pardon, I am certainly not.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see what I am quoting.

It also says:

Prepar3D is not to be used, offered, sold or distributed through markets or channels for use as a personal/consumer entertainment product.

No, that's not what he meant! He meant in order for you to get P3D you have to make a "false" statement saying you are a pilot in training or an academic to make the purchase.

Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!  ✈️
