  3. Hi Sir, Mr. Colonel. There are a couple of reasons for it. BUT what happens her in your case is the following: 1. She Touches Down after the Mid Point of your RWY. (I do Not know how long your RWY is ..) 2. This is a so called Missed Approach as in REAL live and an Go Around MUST be exercised. She, AI, does it correctly. AGAINST my normal procedure without having looked at your plane I recommend as a "Hip Shoot Solution" for AI ONLY !!! that you do the following: Go to the section [Reference_Speeds] and ENTER the following values in this 2 Parameters [Reference Speeds] flaps_up_stall_speed=96 full_flaps_stall_speed=76 Most of the Plane designers APPLY here the CORRECT Performance data of the plane BUT AI, the guy who programmed this part of the flight must NOT have had knowledge of the performance data, and MULTIPLIED the value with 1.3 (Stall Speed X 1.3) for the Approach). Therefor the plane approaches way to fast and sometimes, IF the RWY a short one, misses the TD Point by quite a margine and the Mains are touching Down after the Mid-Point of the RWY. AI as a RESPONSIBLE Pilot commences a Go Around. BRAVO FS9. Now I do NOT know what values are stored in your CFG. Just try them and do NOT forget to check the [brake] section. The toe_brakes_scale should have at least the value of = 0.7. IF you have a RWY Length of 4000 ft this should do it as a shut from the Hip Sir Colonel. Almost forgot, in AI the State of Touchdown will be REACHED ONLY IF the speed is below 55 kts and ONLY than AI prepares and initiates at 35 kts, WAY to low for any plane, theBraking Action. AI does NOT use the REVERSER either a DOUBLE Wummy , again the person did not ... In Real live, after Prop Reverse or Thrust reverse at 80 kts they REAL Pilots apply braking action and NOT at 35 kt WHAT a joke !   7. hi Sir, this "fix" about STATIC_Height alone will NOT do. I looked at the planes dimension ...... OMG what a disaster !! Everything what can be wrong is WRONG.   8. Hi, the plane which flies correctly is High Wing A N D a pusher and it behaves correctly when power is reduced. IF you would relocate the engine as a puller than .... it would behave differently by Pitching Up with Power Reduction. Sincerely G. Kirschstein

  14. Hi Col. IF you select any plane and FS9 loads it the Air & CFG is PARSED (SCANNED) for the MINIMUM required sections whether they are present or not. If any required section is missing FS9 substitutes it with THEIR templates they have for ALMOST every type of plane, I.E. EXCEPTION they do not have a 4 engine Turboprop, and the missing section are stored in the CFG file than at the end of the CFG. Here are the names some of the MS FDE Templates: FourEngineJet.air FourEngineJet.cfg Glider.air Glider.cfg SingleEngineProp.air SingleEngineProp.cfg . . . . SingleEngineTurboprop.air SingleEngineTurboprop.cfg TwinEngineCommercialJet.air TwinEngineCommercialJet.cfg TwinEngineProp.air TwinEngineProp.cfg TwinEngineTurboprop.air TwinEngineTurboprop.cfg Other missing info is taken, IF present, from the planes AIR file to substitute missing Entries / Values. This way sometimes plane I check have a DOUBLE entry of certain entries, just misspell the [WEIGHT_AND_BALANCE] in any way and then check at the end of the CFG file ... I hope this helps.   16. Good morning Mr. Doug, I can NOT confirm this kind of behavior. What happens, even when I use the carriers, the FLIGHT Pass is irregular from the last Way Point to the IAF Point (Initial Approach Fix point) for landing. W I T H I N a distance of just 300 ft the plane , I.E., TURNS left and than sharply TURNS back to the right and proceeds on Track. IF you use the TRAFFIC Map in AI you will see these are actually CORRECT Pattern Points and the plane does NOT fly incorrectly at all. I guess I mentioned in one of my messages that I reported 88 abnormalities of FS9 to MS. NO reply of course, I guess THEY never had in mind to correct or improve anything !! (My humble honest opinion) I also asked where can I see the Airport Traffic pattern turning point, from T.O. to Cross Leg to Downwind to Base Leg to Final and never got an answer either. Big heavy and faster airplanes need, at least in my opinion, a little bit more of room to maneuver around the Traffic Pattern ... Anyhow Mr. Colonel and Mr. Doug try to use and CONFIRM during any AI flight whether the movement of the plane to any direction is at this moment correct due the position of the Way Points along the Flight Route / Pass. So again my opinion is that, IF the plane behaves correct in AI , to see whether the plane flies PERFECT (set the FS9 to 4X speed), see the MAP at this moment to check for Way Point around your present position. Any plane from Italy, USA, GB, Germany, Japan, Canada, France ... would like to have some of them like Spruce Goose, Martin Mariner, Convair Coronado, Shinwa Japan, Blohm & Voss all of them, Focke Wulff, Saunders Priness , Latecore France and so on .. just joking Sir. Colonel thank you much for the offer I appreciate it. Again, I apologize for it, I do not know what you mean when you described the "planes" to be off track and then back on track .. I really want to understand this problem and see what it might be or how it can be solved. Sir, IF you do not mind to give me more infos or the plane, Flight plan etc. I will look into it. I have an AI environment set up with ONE Airbase, consisting of an Land Airport, a Seaport and 4 other adjacent airport included. At the start of the FS9 the AI Explorer shows 212 active planes on all airports whereof my "NAZI" Airbase, Land & Seaport, are hosting > 154 planes alone. Even old British Cargo planes are joining in like Bristol 170 Silver City, Blackburn Beverley in my set up. By the way, ALL of the planes are THEEEE Original released planes with full Textures, Panel, Sound and my "Computore" does NOT stutter at any time. I love FS9 and I'm a little bit mad at MS that the did NOT fix any problem I reported to them to make it the best FS of all times. I never understood Companies to work on the follow on product already and not fixing the present product and make it EVEN worst of CARRYING the known problems into the new product. IF we have worked 65 years ago like theese people did and do THAN there would be NO PC in existance !! Terra Bytes of Disk Space, Giga Bytes of Memory and nothing ... we had the unbelievable amount of 80 characters of memory, 10 mio capacity of hard drive .... Sorry, I got carried away.   18. Good morning Sir, please give me the name of the plane and the FLT & WX file and I will have a look at it. I do not want to offend anybody about the knowledge what and how it works in FS9 AI. The VFR flight plan follows a different Flight Track than an IFR does. Sometimes, even the standard Airport pattern, left hand turns, is used SOME plans fly a Right Turn Pattern !! and at different Altitudes. In your description of the sweaing left and right I honestly do not know what you are describing. So please let me know what plane & Flight Plan you have. I.E. on an Seaport the plans TAXI out and at the Hold Short point they BOUNCH Up on each other and heap of different planes "COMPOSE" a new plane. In the beginning of FS9 I reported 88 problems to MS but never received any answer. All of my planes in my FS9 are measured to the correct dimension and for each plane and model the corresponding FDE set, CFG & AIR files are created. With the model seperation, in case there are different engines, weight & special functions, I create a own entry in the aircraft library. Each plane can be flown in ALL of the FS9 Environments and is using ONLY the same set of the FDE. Pilot controlled Autopilot controlled ILS / NDB Approaches AI Environment ( all types of planes WWI, WWII, Jet, Amphibiums , Sea planes) AGAIN, each plane and model has its OWN set of FDE's and there is NOT one set of FDE for all planes in AI. ONE set of FDE per plane & model, BUT used in ALL Environments within FS9. This, selfspoken, Defines that in my FS9 I use the Full plane as released by the designer EVEN the texture and the Panel and the Sound is used. Sorry for the long explanation and maybe sometimes confusing explanations, but my mother tongue is not English. Please let me know how I can address your described problem. Thank you very much. As I informed you before your LINK did NOT got "honored" by Flightsim.com. THEY did not find anything so I took the LIBERTY to get a CASA 212-200. The set FDE I finished flies between KPBI and KBCT without a problem. By the way, the person who designed the plane did a good job with the exception of the CFG & AIR file ... To make it a flyable version, what I did to test the plane, more info's are needed. I can NOT imagine that a "fast" Cargo plane like the 212 has Spoilers but who knows. Thank you very much. I took a couple of SNAP Shots so I can send them to you to show that the plane flies in the AI environment, taxi to Take Off RWY, Takes Of, Cruises to Destination, Flies the Approach,Lands and Taxis to the Parking Spot, Shuts down and starts later the Return Flight. ( WITHOUT any Porpoising at even at 4 times Simulator Speed there is NO nick or bubble visible)

  24. hi, it can have a couple of reasons: In CFG 1. The MOI 2. The Geometries Wing Area / Elevator etc 3. The Flap values (IF Flaps used) 4. AI Speed (Reference) In AIR Record 1101 1. Flap Value 2.
