  1. You mean that you removed the AF2_PANT.bgl from my scenery folder and the concrete runway in the water close to PAKT disappeared? That is weird, as I made the AF2_PANT.bgl to remove the residual runways on Annette Island, and did it by deleting everything and then saving the empty airfield. If you open my AF2_PANT.bgl in AFCAD then you will find........ absolutely nothing, and there was no connection between it and Ketchikan. I had already deleted the runway in the water from the PAKT scenery. OK, I give up, FS9 is strange.
  2. Did you check that you have ONLY the bgl's that I provided, so that there are no residuals from the previous versions? There was a water runway there that in my version I removed. Email me if you need more discussion.

I will be (actually, I am already) making a further version (#3) that includes more float planes and docks, and, if folks tell me that the road down the hill doesn't work for them (which is the most likely thing to give problems) I will also make version #4 which will be the same as three but without the road. If nobody tells me then........

  3. This was first posted in 2004. The dates on the bgl's have been changed to 2016 but they are exactly the same as the 2004 post, as are the scenery textures, even down to the same eight textures being 8 bit instead of DXT1. So if you already have the 2004 scenery, don't bother.
  4. I should also have said that it would take some 80 to 100 hours just to convert all the scenery objects used here. Then the same again to make the airport layout, place the scenery objects, ground textures, AI, etc. If it was a weeks work in total I would probably take a shot at it, but........
  5. Sorry, the simple answer is "No". I have offered in the forums to provide all my buildings from all my (400?) airfields to be converted to another format for anyone who wants to make versions of PABR or any other scenery for FSX, P3D, or Xplane. I was contacted by one person, only. I have no experience of making scenery for FSX; buildings can be converted, but transparent items like fences would need to be replaced, and other items such as ground textures etc are totally different. I also have no intention of moving to FSX, so the personal motivation is not there. I will leave FS9, but only when a version for virtual reality headsets appears as that will be a huge step forward for flightsim.
